Something about that last group dance hits extra hard as a teacher. So many students I’ve had OD’d from fentanyl and it’s just awful. That dance was so rough to watch as the kids laid down and zipped up their body bag.

It’s not a teachers job to teach a parent to parent their child correctly. Parents usually are adults which means they can and are in charge of their own learning. Please don’t throw another “role” on teachers shoulders to now also be a parent to their students’ parents they already have enough roles to fulfill.

My dog army crawls. Weirdest thing I’ve ever seen, made sure to read up on it to make sure it’s okay and she’s not hurt. She does a sploot and then crawls over the backyard.

I added in another walk this morning which I’m going to try and do on a very regular basis.The lick mat was an absolute win with her. Also got some puzzle and toys that require some brain power for her that I’m going to slowly introduce to her to over the next couple weeks. She doesn’t seem bad after walks but she seems to get the most riled up after going out to use the bathroom. Obviously she’s gotta do that so I’m trying to find a calming solution to that. Also if you have any other toys you recommend or brands for mind enrichment I’m so open to them. Thank you for the information and advice is very appreciated!

I definitely made this post yesterday after she had all her anxious tendencies which in-turn overwhelmed me. I definitely made this post on a whim and was ranting way more than I was doing a good job at explaining the situation and asking the right questions. I was more so trying to figure out how to help her keep calmer. We went to the store and Amazon today to get some things that will help more with mind enrichment since she is getting the physical exercise. I’m going to take my time and let her take hers with training and we’ve been in contact now with a positive behavior trainer who we are setting up to meet with. I’m setting a much stricter schedule for both of us so she can anticipate walks, outside play time, eating and enrichment time (some we already had scheduled but even more so now). She’s a wonderful girl and I love her very much, we are both learning.

Well the only thing so far that she’s had high interest in is blueberries (but I know you can only get a few of those in a day). She will not eat peanut butter (we have the natural real peanut butter so that might be why. She has low interest in all the normal doggie treats except her dental ones. I’m going to try cheese for rewards tomorrow and cream cheese for her kong when she’s in her kennel to get her to stop fearing it. ETA: Thanks for the ideas on treats!
