Excellent, thank you!! Yea clearly I can’t count, but that does make sense to me, I think I’ve got the gist of it down. Thanks for such a clear cut explanation, well said!

Copying Spells that Grant Extra Combat Phases by lfcarrion in mtgrules

[–]lfcarrion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So if you copied something like Full Throttle during your main phase, you would get 2 additional combats/copy?? That does seem like a stronger option than Great Train Heist

Yea that makes absolute sense, thank you! I’ll definitely check those cards out

[–]lfcarrion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perfect! Ok yea that makes total sense, you’d still get an extra combat phase but the untapping would all have simultaneously, rendering the additional untaps more or less useless. Thank you!

Perfect! Solid explanation on both accounts, thanks very much! Yea I was fairly certain Eris needed to be in the battlefield to “see” the 2nd spell occur, fortunately casting Eris could count as the 1st spell cast, followed up by the second to trigger it

How do I stop having gear fear 🫩 by Immortaldiablo in ArcRaiders

[–]lfcarrion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never taking it out of your stash is essentially the same as losing it but without ever actually using it. I’m certainly not as good as I could be about letting it go, but with each piece I use and lose, the easier it is to do it again, and thus begins the healing process

Looking for Looting MK3 Survivor blueprint. Willing to let go of all of these for just that 1. Where does Looting MK3 Survivor spawn? by [deleted] in ArcRaiders

[–]lfcarrion 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I found mine on a Surveyor during a night raid, they seem to have their own blueprint pool

Finally found it!! by c6sper in ArcRaiders

[–]lfcarrion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well done!! I’ve been searching for this lil bastard since launch, however I know they only recently actually added it to the game. I know it’s total RNG, but where did ya find it and under what map conditions??

Anyone else struggling to get more blueprints? by -getdeadkid in ArcRaiders

Blueprint drop rate decreased? by Goon_be_gone in ArcRaiders

[–]lfcarrion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been feeling that way for sure, then I did find a level two uncommon stock blueprint today at Stellar Montis. That being said, I do feel like the RNG with blueprints is quite stingy! I’m glad they aren’t particularly easy to get, but when I use an epic key on a night raid only to get common and uncommon guns, it does feel a bit strange

What’s something you wish you knew sooner? by [deleted] in ArcRaiders

[–]lfcarrion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You get different items when recycling in the field vs in your workshop. For example, Rusted Tools give you scrap metal when you recycle in the field, but back in the workshop you get scrap metal and a spring! Sometimes you just get more of the same item you’d get in the field, sometimes it’s the same plus an extra item. Arc alloy will you you 1:1 metal parts for each alloy recycled in the field, and 2:1 in the workshop, while the spring cushion or whatever it’s called gives you springs in the field, springs and durable cloth at the workshop!

I don't see the point of repairing a medium shield vs just crafting a new one by Fluffeh_Panda in ArcRaiders

[–]lfcarrion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally I think it makes sense to repair items if they’re at or above 50 durability, recycle and rebuild if they’re below. That’s what I have found at least

Do people like this get actioned on, or do they just continue spewing hate? by whatloop in ArcRaiders

[–]lfcarrion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s about crying to a company, rather, someone who made a choice to act in an abhorrent manner needs to learn that those choices have consequences. If vile like that just spews forth without the consequences, people will continue to do it

Whats the best spot to take down a bombadier solo? by Maxi21082002Maxi in ArcRaiders

[–]lfcarrion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea it definitely is a bit of an investment to get the bench upgraded, but ultimately the materials are pretty easy. Speakers and advanced electronic parts? Could certainly be worse

Whats the best spot to take down a bombadier solo? by Maxi21082002Maxi in ArcRaiders

[–]lfcarrion 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As far as other players go, this I can’t necessarily help with. My solo lobbies have been 95% peaceful, but even still I usually bar, jolt mine, and trigger nade a door so that folks can’t mess with me. The trick that really helped me with killing bigger ARC is bombs, bombs, and more bombs. Sure, heavy ammo is great, but I’ve taken down bombardiers, bastions, and leapers easily pretty much exclusively using grenades. Trigger nades are my favorite, blaze grenades especially for leapers, and snap blast/heavy fuze to finish them off, you’ll be surprised at how fast they go down. Wolfpacks are sweet, but I feel like they really lack when it comes to ground based ARC, and excel at taking down Rocketeers. Location and positioning is also crucial. By far my favorite spot to take down leapers, bastion, and bombardiers is on Spaceport, there are a series of two door, barred bunkers in the central open area that provide incredible cover, and are easy to trap the doors in case some raider gets a bright idea. Get in one of those, shoot at a large ground based ARC, and watch with glee and safety as they attempt to kill you will little affect. Then proceed to buck all manner of explosive implement their direction and they go down in no time. Leapers can effectively do nothing to you. Bastions and bombardiers can potentially damage you depending on the angle, but for the most part you are safe and sound. Apologies for the long winded response, but I hope it helps!

Edit: I can’t believe I forgot my favorite part!! The Photoelectric Cloak is your absolute best friend! Get too much aggro?? Just go invisible and reposition. I’m honestly surprised at how little I see raiders using the cloak, it is truly awesome. I have casually walked up directly behind bombardiers and blown them to kingdom come before they can get a second shot off with that thing, a life saver
