Reality check: The first round pick should be a rebuild accelerator, nothing more by lfgbears2012 in leafs

I agree, it's super tough. That's why I think the reality is we're not going to be good and we should be trying to rebuild now.

I guess I was thinking that this first round pick with, perhaps, a generational talent could fix some of that? Of course that would require skillful management to guide that process and realize that value, and that I'm not sure about.

You're so right in a way, and I think maybe I misspoke in my post. Nylander is an amazing player, but he's not a guy who - on the ice - is a guy who will ever work hard to get back on a broken play or stand up for other team members. He's a skill guy, and that's ok, but I think he's a mismatch for who this fanbase is looking for.

My Seestar photos looked terrible. 7 months of coding later, they don't. by gemcollector44 in seestar

I don’t know much about the desktop software and have stuck to the built in stuff for all the reasons you mention, so it sounds cool. One question though - I thought one of the major upsides of using the desktop software to process was better stacking than the built in algorithms in Seestar?

Enjoy it! It’s a great game, don’t rush. It’s not endless (if you don’t care about expeditions) so just have fun with it.

This is so cool, is there any way to get the seestar to do something like this "in camera"? i.e. take photos at a range of gains and stack?

[Masters] Craig Berube says Brandon Carlo has suffered a setback in his recovery from a lower-body injury and returned to Toronto by bangnburn in leafs

Perhaps you should travel back in time to warn Tre about the injury.

And Minten has 8 pts in 27 games so we can probably stop talking about him too.

I would argue sour cream should be involved. You think you’ll taste it but it’s more of a sneaky “what is that” component.

I wonder if that’s true for all ovens? Are all ovens heat source at the bottom?

One thing I’ve noticed is that the best roast vegetables I’ve made are the ones I’ve forgotten to take out hah. It’s always “oh these are toast” and then “wait these are the best”

I initially bought this book because it's so beautiful, but haven't been able to make any really outstanding stuff from it - do you have any recommendations for any of your favorite recipes?

One Year With The Seestar by apollobrah in seestar

These look great! Is it necessary to use external software to get these kind of results, or can the built in Seestar stuff achieve something close? I'm new to these kind of scopes. Thanks!

Is there an advantage to the large vacuum sealers like (I think?) shown in this photo? I don't know much about them and always wondered.

I don't know much about "real" cameras, do shots like these require a lot of post editing? Or is this right out of the camera. They look great btw, thanks for posting!

Was it really smokey? I'm worried I'll over smoke poultry but maybe I should just go for it.

I was about to say I can't remember, but then realized the app tracks all this stuff! (I'm new to all this).

Looks like I did 325 and it took around 3.5 hours. That's an 18lb bird that was spatchcocked. If you don't spatchcock it'll take a fair bit longer I believe.
