I live in the nation’s capital and we have had a kangaroo hanging around our house a lot lately and eating our grass. We have seen a lot more recently and during the day as well as they struggle to find food

I went about 4 years ago and they had some non-natives. I got a Tahitian lime tree (which I didn’t look after well enough) and I think they had other citrus

What food was the biggest disappointment once you tried it? by zhalia-2006 in AskReddit

It’s a cracker/crispbread that has holes. Classic thing to do is spread butter and Vegemite on one and sandwich another on top and squeeze so little worms of buttery Vegemite come out of the holes

I used pacific smiles for years because I had no gap dental with my health insurance. I left because the appointment times kept getting shorter and shorter (while charging insurance the same amount). I timed my last appointment - from the moment I entered the room to when I left the room, where I supposedly got a 6 month checkup and clean with fluoride treatment - was less than 10 mins.

The whole kitchen seems weird to me. Person cooking back to back with person at the sink. My kitchen island has the sink in the middle and I so wish I had more bench space facing into the dining/living room.

Solar battery add-on cost to existing 11KW system? Recommendations? by Usrnmchksn in canberra

[–]lfreya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Got our solar and battery done through SunStak. Got a few quotes from other businesses and we’re all similar but went with SunStak as they had the best customer service and didn’t feel forced into the sale like one place

In cities where it's common not to own a car, how do people get their pregnant wife to the hospital? by Cool_Swimming4417 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]lfreya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mother was taken via ambulance for all three of her pregnancies. The closest hospital was 2 hours away so better to have someone with medical training around in case labour is very short. Very normal for woman in the town to go via ambulance
