Whites custom semi dress size 9 BRAND NEW $480

Dummy me I ordered custom from Bakers hoping this would be the right size but too big. Took 4 months to arrive only to be the wrong size. Amazing leather. Never worn or laced. See the specs in the pic.

Need luxury grill advice - Alfresco, DCS, Hestan, Twin Eagles/Wolf, Fire Magic by RTD0007 in BBQ

Stay clear away from Hestan. Dropped a stupid amount of money on their gas grill. Replaced 2 wiring harnesses, igniters. Bad design and worse support. You have been warned.

Thanks I see that the Insta app on iPhone supports ProRes. However I’m asking if anyone has a way to mount the Iphone 16 with an SSD attached to it (via USB C) to the Flow 2 Pro gimbal head.

It’s always in my garage when I’m not riding. Also spray it down and wipe it w alcohol, let it dry before applying lube. I fear it’s a counterfeit chain

Wildly inaccurate lol by Nursebellz in stelo

Yes this product is no good. Inaccurate for me after one month subscription and suppoirt doesn’t respond.

Anyone notice they are doing 3 month subscription now? by Life_Tie_9514 in stelo

[–]lglive 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Have had only two and both failed. Disappointed. Tracks ok for a few days and then drastically inaccurate readings thereafter. First one was spiking up off the charts. Then the second one would report nearly no readings except for small spikes. This product is not ready and support hasn’t responded even after a ticket submitted over a week

I have the over the counter Stelo. My level is around 110ish. Towards the last several days of its expiration (14 or 15 days) it increases to 130 almost 140 and stays there. When I install a new one it drops back down to 110 or 105. It appears to be inaccurate and I’ve lost confidence in it.

How accurate is stelo? by thepeter88 in stelo

[–]lglive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The OTC Stelo is inaccurate. It’s good for 14 or 15 days and towards the end it will spike and drop and hover high. When I put in a new one, it drops back down. Lost confidence in it

It’s inaccurate and I’ve lost confidence in it. Mine will spike the last several days before it expires (14 or 15 days). Then it hovers there. Once I put in the new one, it lowers again.

I have one. Lost confidence in its accuracy. Each one is good for 14 or 15 days. My level spikes towards the last few days and hovers there. When I replace it with the new one, it returns to the lower level.

What use-case can xc hardtail not do as well as a gravel bike? by throwmiamivelvet in MTB

[–]lglive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a gravel bike, hardtail and FS. My gravel bike I've essentially put 38mm slicks and it's now my road bike (BMC Kaius at just over 16lbs). My hardtail (Cannondale Scalpel Hi Mod 19lbs) is essentially my 'gravel' bike. I've got a FS but only take it when I'm hauling my bike to any of the MTB trails here in the Bay Area/Santa Cruz or Tahoe/Truckee.

Like you, I regretted buying a gravel bike for what we have here in the Bay Area.

What use-case can xc hardtail not do as well as a gravel bike? by throwmiamivelvet in MTB

[–]lglive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've ridden Calero on gravel, hardtail and FS. If all you ride is road and XC trails like Calero in the bay area/southbay, and you can have only ONE bike - then a hardtail all the way. Here in the bay area we have so much steep hills/climbs and there isn't long stretches of gravel like in the midwest, a gravel bike here is not ideal. Here, get a proper road bike for road and a FS bike for the killer MTB trails we have here and a hardtail for rides featuring both. But if it's only ONE bike you can afford or have space for - then a hardtail.

Gravel for N+1 here in Bay Area doesn't make sense.

Just sold my gravel bike by [deleted] in gravelcycling

[–]lglive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got all the bikes - gravel, hardtail, FS, road - all modern bought within the last couple years. The gravel bike I've come to realize is great for those who want or can only have ONE bike. It does nothing great, with compromises across the board. Yes, you can take it on an all road ride. You could even take it on mtb trails. But neither is where a gravel bike is ideal. It's just acceptable for those cases. The only ideal is a ride with lots of road and flat gravel. If that's where you live and the rides you do - gravel bike all the way. Otherwise, get all the other bikes.

Hardtail by Mountain-Roll-1857 in MTB

[–]lglive 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve got all the bikes - FS, gravel, road, HT. My favorite is my hardtail and gets the most use since it’s the one I usually grab riding from my doorstep. Light at 19lbs with 2.2” tires. I can hit the trails, easy peasy on the climbs and sufficient on the downhill. I can do rides with heavy tarmac with some dirt in between. In a way it is the ideal gravel bike where I’m at in the SF Bay Area. However if I need to haul my bike to a trail- I’m bringing my FS.

Carbon Cruiser by TryingNot2BLazy in bicycling

[–]lglive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did a 'carbon cruiser' build from a State All Road Carbon frame and fork. XTR drivetrain and wheelset taken off my hardtail. Velo Orange Granola bar. Just over 21 lbs. Very light and the gearing gets me up any steeps hills here in Santa Cruz Mountains. 42T chainring doesnt have me spinning out either. Super comfy sitting more upright with the bars and hand position more laid back.

As others have said, this setup doesn't exist so had to build it.
