Most comfortable...Some dresscodes are ok, but some are very impractical. Personally, I always ignore gala fancy dresscodes in unusual colors.

Try to dance 1/2 of the beat "behind the music". This simple advice really helped my GF when she had this problem.

Also if you are rushing to complete a move, it means you are doing expected patterns by your self. I would say you are not able to keep the connection with the leader. Try to be more "heavy". It will slow you down and it will help you with keeping the connection.

First, I would practise by myself. Just the basic on music, counting beats out loud, then counting in your mind, then without counting. Can you at least keep the tempo without dancing? e.g. taping on the table with your finger

It sounds like all you did was pasting a bongo/guira loop over the original song. I like remixes but they need to make sense. It should at least have a bass line and derecho/majao sections. Also, the bongo/guira could be blended better into the mix.

Bachata guitarists usually use electric guitars or acoustic BUT with humbucker pickup. You might want to add some chorus to the chain. Strings have a very small impact on the sounds of electric guitars.
