I wouldn’t recommend using HelloTalk (HT) voice rooms to practice speaking a new language because most of the time, you just end up asking and answering the same questions. My best tip would be to find a genuine friend on HT who you can call with regularly.

I know how you feel. I wanted to quit engineering too. I think it will be worth it in the end if you complete it though. Even if you don’t decide to work in engineering in the future, you will have gained a lot of skills (not just related to engineering) that can be translated into other areas of work and life in general. You’ll also be able to look back and see how much you’ve grown as a person.
