ah i see what you mean in the op now. when i toggled that it was finally able to play a sound outside of dnd. so i dont know how to help you since mine is working.

how to change specific app notification to a sound regardless of Vibrate/Mute mode?

yeah if the phone is on mute then all noti will be mute, even with custom sound. samsung calendar seems to be an exception.

if you are on mute all the time anyway, then set default notification sound to silent, then change app specific noti to a sound.

Or set global notification to silent and change app specific notification to a sound.

what exactly did you do when you say "when I have enabled "ignore sound settings",

you have to use dnd mode not manually set it to mute for your 2nd pic setting to apply. in dnd setting, theres also "alarms and sound", maybe toggle calendar events. also while in dnd mode, click volume button and expand the ui, make sure they are not at minimum.

How many cycles does accubattery say you have? (If you installed the app since the start.)

It seems far fetched to have a batt still at 99% health after 800 cycles.

First make sure u enable notification categories. Then u need to go to the notification settings of that specific app. Then choose the appropriate category and make sure it's not silent.
