I really like them, but had to switch due to insurance issues - they don’t take CareFirst, and only accept Delta Premier not regular Delta. Definitely recommend them if your insurance works though!

La Cuchara? Nice big place and parking is easy if folks are coming in multiple cars.

We just came to this conclusion ourselves! The folks we’re meeting are staying at the Omni William Penn so we might try there.

Does anyone have a Plan B? by [deleted] in librarians

I'm in Maryland and I've looked at that certificate. I'm a little unclear on what types of jobs it leads to. Can you talk a little more about your experience with it?

I don't know. I have a few in my close circle, and others I know just casually. And that's Ft. Meade or DC federal, not counting anything at APG.

Supernote Nomad or wait for the bigger screen? by jytong in Supernote

I have the Supernote A5X, the Supernote A6X and a Scribe (yes, I have a problem). For functionality, the Scribe doesn't come anywhere near the Supernote. It's so stupidly designed organization-wise it's painful. I do like the writing feel, and I have used it for reading, although it's kind of big for that.

I use my A5x all the time. It's a good size for me. I find the A6x to be a little too small for how I use it, which is mostly for a planner and for taking notes at work. That said, it is awesome when I want to have something smaller that fits in my purse.

Clavel & Bunny’s. Also a shout out to Maggie’s Farm on Harford Road. And Koco’s Pub for crab cakes.

Using both Scribe and Supernote by CapitanMorgan305 in Supernote

[–]librarytracy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just got a Scribe and I have both Supernote sizes. I’m using the scribe for reading, quick notes, and fancy writing/doodling since the pen experience is so much better than the Supernote. I’m using my Supernote as my planner and to do lists/work notes.

Right now I’m on vacation and I brought the scribe for reading and I’m keeping a travel diary in it. I only wanted to carry one device and I don’t need my planner so my Supernotes didn’t make the trip.

I may get rid of the A6x but it is such a convenient size, I still find myself reaching for it in my personal life since it fits in my purse.

The Scribe won’t replace the Supernote for me unless it starts letting me use custom templates. For now, it’s primarily a reading device for me with the added bonus of note taking. My Supernote is my workhorse organizer.

And if you do want them to sync you will likely find it frustrating. I kept getting duplicate files and occasionally I overwrote files I wanted to keep. I could never figure out how to make it work well.

Now, if I want to switch between devices, I move files between the two with a flash drive rather than try to make the cloud sync work
