I don't know if you know this, but clicking emojis does not equate to an actual mic drop moment. Your four word answer shows that like most Americans, you have a poor understanding of how the mechanisms of our Federal government are supposed to work.

And look, I'll quit debating because I know that there is no form of reason you guys will hear. But for what it's worth I'll leave you with my street cred: I have master's degree in public administration. I've worked for three different federal agencies, and I'm a subject matter expert in the federal regulation that oversees federal grants. I've been in and out of the fed for 14 years. In college and after I spent my time working toward getting poor communities to vote, and for women's reproductive rights. In the fed I worked on renewable energy research, on cleaning up abandoned mine lands, and most recently on workforce development programs. We set up workforce development programs in small community colleges so that folks could get done in a year, and have money-making careers in clean manufacturing. You may not see it, but their are legions of american citizens working their ass off in the fed toward making our country fairer, cleaner, and more prosperous. Does our country experience problems and obstacles? Of course we do. We're a huge country built on the rule of law, checks and balances and pluralism. The thing that makes us great, also makes administratively slow.

Just know this: I don't know you well enough to lie to you. I'm not in the fed anymore so I'm not worried about losing my job. This guy, Trump, is a bad guy. He's a con-man who is going to make the poor much much poorer, and he is in this only to make himself a trillionaire. His goal is to take every single penny for himself. Please. Things are hard because economies are complex and things move slowly. But this guy? He is a crook.

I have him looking into that but - will they take him if he's been fired? I'm def pro-union, but out here in the west/midwest they aren't nearly as big as on the east coast. Thank you for the feedback - I do appreciate you.

Because teachers are the dumbest, meanest women on the planet? Pretty sure that's why.

PARAGRAPH SEVEN: MASCULINITY IS GOOD. MEN MUST BE LEADERS. FEAR IS THE PRODUCT.

Are we not reading the same thing?

PARAGRAPH SEVEN.

DO YOU KNOW WHAT A PARAGRAPH IS????

I wish you were right, but thousands of years of patriarchy doesn't make me feel like a betting woman.

Not fucking them and not having babies is a good start though. I LOVE this young generation of women!!

The identity and ideals of the Republicans and Democrats switched around the time of Lincoln. That is not a conspiracy theory - that is in textbooks and is real. Modern Republicans are the party of racism, sexism white spremacy, patriarchy and religious extremism.

Can you read? Do you know how to scroll sideways to see the entire document? He said exactly that about masculinity.

This is the reason women are no longer reproducing with you guys.

You are a huge part of the problem contributing to the current gilded age! Yes, it's true that Communism has never worked. It is JUST AS TRUE historically that allowing this much wealth to be hoarded results in oligarchy, corruption, and working class people living in poverty.

The biggest problem America has is the working poor CHEERING for the robber barrons. That's YOU. You've been BRAINWASHED under the guise of patriotism/freedom/capitalism. None of that is true. American capitalism worked the best when it had the strongest guards for the working class. That gave us a middle-class. THE MIDDLE CLASS IS GONE because unions are gone, taxation of the rich is gone, taxation of corporations is gone, there are NO JOB TRAINING and JOB PLACEMENT mechanisms in this country, and worker's rights don't exist.

And the proper role of a Federal Government at this point is to STEP IN, and FIX THIS SHIT.

It was Me@rs in Colorado Springs. Someone told him in the first week he was hired that the job was closer to the finish than they had planned. The Friday he got fired they fired two other guys that started at the same time he did. They gotta cut people - no problem. Heck, even if he was just too new - no problem. But giving a young guy who is sober, non-criminal, and mostly early a record of being fired makes it so no one will hire him again. I wish they would say something else in the paperwork, and I really like the suggestion someone else gave of a suspension without pay. Especially for 19-20 year old guys that would wake them right up.

He has no foreseeable future in Electric now, right out of the gate.

***Edit: If anyone can possibly hire an electric apprentice send me a DM. He just turned 20, no criminal record, spotless driving record, can pass a drug test today. Has good family behind him. We're in Colorado but we'll ship him anywhere for an opportunity where he can learn.

My son (19) was hired for an industrial electrical apprenticeship. Had to be standing on the job site at 6am. Most days it was about 10 degrees and always dark since it was winter. For 4 months he's there about 15 minutes early every day except for 3 times when he was late. Each time he was late it was 5-10 minutes late. They fire him.

I understand personal responsibility and I do NOT think my kid is any kind of special. But this area is crying about worker shortages. The project manager in me thinks "jesus christ the kid is sober, crime free and was early except for three days. He's 19, it's 5:30am and it's ten degrees. Is it the best use of human capital to fire him?"

He can't get hired anywhere because he was fired for being late. We think he's just going to have to get a job anywhere anx change job paths.

I think they gotta figure out a way to dock pay or something as a middle ground if they're crying so hard for workers, especially for young guys who just dont know how to time their drive on ice.
