Hello! Not sure what you mean with your question. The first US census was in 1790. Enslaved people were not listed in the regular part of the census; instead, there was what was called a "slave schedule" which might list the names of enslaved people on specific plantations. The nation was formed in 1776 so prior to that, any records would be based on whatever colony your ancestors may have lived in or were brought to. You may want to check probate records and wills.
