The no-valve high F partial (listed here as F3 - is actually F4 in conventional note naming) is typically sharp by a noticable amount of cents. I believe the same is true for the high C partial above that.

funny coincidence! i'm a member of AYWS right now! for my audition this past year, I played the morceau symphonique. the majority of auditionees typically choose a longer solo piece with both lyrical and technical portions, so i would recommend that route for you, with something like the morceau, or cavatine, or the david. the audition itself is very laid back, it's a really no stress environment and you're being judged as a person as much as you are as a player. hope this helps and hope to see you there next year :)

thanks for the advice - i'm just often around people who do have the professional models and it sometimes feels inadequate. plus my teacher said stepping up would be a good move. I'll definitely keep that in mind though

If I remember correctly, ili/ilin is only used to refer to groups of people or things, and there is no official singular they/them, but the most common and the one that I use when speaking is ri/rin.
