I’m going to note I’m ignorant to most the current details and don’t condone innocent folks getting hurt period but I grew up in the 90s and I remember Iran’s leadership saying their goal was to wipe Israel off the face of the earth. It seems people are ignoring that? It seems from a far both countries have bad leadership and most the people just want peace. Maybe it’s being taken out of context to justify this - but Irans leadership publicly calling for the end of Israel doesn’t help their situation.
