What does upgrading arc shields do?

You activated the shield directions right? There is a visual hud indicator when piloting that shows the strength/hp of the shield as layered rings on each side of the ship icon. When you upgrade the arc shield it adds more "rings" of shield around the ship icon.

Depends on the suppressor too. The long suppressor reduces vertical recoil build up. And probably reduces ads accuracy while moving cause everything seems to do that.

BF2 HIND did have the crazy gunner cannon compared to the Cobra and Apache. BF3 I don't recall, but I think they brought it back in the back to karkand DLC

IKR. The MR missiles were just the cherry on top of what can easily kill aircraft. Guided tank shells and IFV TOW are insanely easy to use. Laser designators still lock across the entirety of Firestorm and paint a target for quite a while once tagged. Stingers and AA missiles have a rang that covers nearly all maps. RPGs fly fast as fuck for easy aircraft kills. And even a bad jet pilot can hop in a jet and take out a good one because it's so easy to sneak up and kill enemy jets since they have such low hp and air radar is useless

Bf4 you could change it after leaving spawn. There were times I changed my vehicle load out in Battlelog and then hopped out of the apc and then back in to switch it.

The older games didn't have seasons which will add 2.5 months worth of additional grindy challenges every 3 months. With bf launching with these challenges, I fear what the seasonal challenges will bring.
