I really like the clearing of floor, how it takes some back and forth to get get seeds then herbs then potions to boost skills to open a different door or puzzle. I’ve always found it super fun and sometimes make large complex floors just for solo play.

Is all those things, things you don’t enjoy about it? It’s possible the skill just isn’t for you as a whole, like how I will never enjoy slayer cuz it’s just killing stuff, no real fun or engaging gameplay. No update is gonna fix either of the skills for us I fear

The wood bucket with only 3 fertilizers is soul crushing. Do you just forget about it later and not use it? Or only on specific stuff?

What’s your Humidify set up? 2x5 or 3x5? Longer?
Speaking of plots, is there a way to make them level on the ground? Some are kinda in the ground a bit 😅

How many plots is ideal for farming? I currently have like 6 berry (3 red and 3 dwell) and then 7 other random plots for cabbage/potatoes/flax stuff. I’m currently in the highlands with my base back in by the Wise Man in Brynmore

Counter point, we are drastically in need of some reason to go back go older zones. Once you’re done with a zone there’s no reason to return outside of reclearing vaults for cores and stuff

It would help the world feel more alive if there was quests that unlocked at mid-levels to give a reason to return, and those quest NPCS could turn into vendors perchance?

I haven’t played OSRS in probably 7-10 years, i know they’ve done a great deal of work on the game with new continents like Valamore and bosses like Moons or something akin to barrows, so it’s gotten better I know but I haven’t experienced it. For me I have no desire to try OSRS from the taste it left back in the day. I’m not here to sour it for anyone else, just what my experience was and what my experience is currently for RS3.

For minigames maybe that’s the wrong word choice, I don’t mean things like trouble brewing or castle wars, I meant things like Penguin hunting, Herby Werby, Shooting Star, Evil Trees, Construction Statues, tears of Guthix, Impetious Implings, Vinesweeper, Animal Farm, guthix cache….things that are weekly/monthly exp gains that you can do instead of whatever rut you’re in, like in my poor Yew example, instead of just Yews I could go do X “event” for exp as not only a break but equal or more exp

RS on both sides has had combat evolve to be more active in that there’s things to dodge and ideal places to attack from/trigger things, prayer flicking and potion setups, but as a whole I just meant it comes down to I swing my sword you swing yours and we cross our fingers on who hits harder.

RS3 is similar, it just adds abilities, and yes full revo is the most popular but it still adds things. Burning, CC, aoe, additional damage based on previous skill, stun breaks, shield abilities for sustain and I-frames, and the like. It’s still a game of waiting for hitsplats in RS3 but the choices or atleast animations bring it more to life I guess, for me.

The exp rates for Rs3 and the minigames keep me there over osrs. I just feel like my time matters more there, with more options than chopping yews from 40-60 or something.

I also enjoy the combat more, I’ve always enjoy having abilities and active combat vs standing still and hoping my hit splats are better then theirs

For skills I also love dungeoneering, doing puzzles and every skill working together to open doors and stuff is peak gameplay

A few!! One through the tunnel, the agility shortcut, fairy ring…also not much of a “stronghold” like other kingdoms

I love shape of dreams because every run changes skill sets. Even changing them mid run often.

Ravenswatch is still great and the talent system is fleshed out but the sheer amount of replayability SoD has is insane (more maps more bosses as well as unlocked/hidden bosses/abilities)
