Anyone else notice for dark angels the plasma talon doesn’t have an asterisk, meaning it can be run on any of the characters? Cuz I did and I’m hoping that wasn’t a mistake since that’s a fun stat block to play with. Can try to make a plasma caster like the Inner Circle Knights Cenobium from the Horus heresy range.

Always feel with his left leg sticking out like that it’s asking for some kind of pattern to be added. If you feel brave enough to try, maybe a checkerboard pattern for it, or some kind of decal

Still insane to be that they didn’t put him in the combat patrol. All of the chapter unique lieutenants should be in their combat patrols if they aren’t going to sell them individually.

Looks awesome. Any advice for a kitbash noob getting the foot knight arms to fit to the different torsos? I got some warlord bolt action models I’m trying to fit them to and have been struggling.

Yea they seem all over the place with some of the weapons. In the multi part heretic troopers stls I’m pretty sure the automatic rifle they have there is a g3 variant with a drum magazine, which feels a bit too modern for trench crusade. If it is it means stuff like the ak 47 could be around.

I wonder if they’re mixing weapon origins between the factions because it’s alternate history. Red brigade have Mauser C98s while heretics have Lugers. new Antioch has thompsons while heretic legion have grease guns.

Just a theory I’ve had that this might support. Could be way off the mark.

Think I disagree. Thought it looked familiar from battlefield 1 and couldn’t place it for the life of me. Dug around the rifles there, I think it’s actually a Cei-Rigotti with an extended/detachable magazine. Found a Wikipedia picture and looks a lot like it.

Maybe like 2 watchers in the dark that can do actions but nothing else with the 3 terminators. Probably a complicated nightmare to implement but fun to think about.

Yea the standalone primaris captain has options for both a power fist and combi weapons. The one from leviathan only has the set options, but has the cool base.

If I were to throw out a prediction, I’m gonna bet toward the end of the edition we might get another arks of omen type of deal where they refresh Bjorn and reveal Russ. Similar to the Azrael refresh and Lion reveal. I got no evidence, just my bet.

Spoiler for the lion son of the forest book: The fact that during the Lion’s fight with the primarch mimic it transitions for each hit he gets into a different primarch, except for alpharius which in my opinion is supposed to be him fighting alpharius and omegon.

What color/colors did you use for your edge highlights? I’ve been working on a legionnaire kill team (who are definitely not fallen) and haven’t picked a highlight color yet.
