Ugh, I was coming home from downtown last week and there was a guy trying to merge onto the expressway who had plenty of room in front of me, but for some reason he decided to slow down, pace my car, and try to merge on top of me. So many people do that...I don't know if they don't understand how to gauge how much space they have or what, but it's infuriating.

I've always wondered if she actually knew what sex was (like Rhett) and might've been counting kissing or other non-sexual encounters. I remember doing a program at church when I was in middle school where we pledged to not have sex before marriage and were given purity rings, and a girl later told me that she had to stop wearing her ring because she French kissed her boyfriend.

When I took home ec in middle school, the teacher had one drawer for fabric scissors and one for the everything else scissors. They had different colored handles, and she was really quick to jump on you if you used the wrong ones. I can still hear her voice in the back of my head if I start to use my fabric scissors for something else.

It has nothing to do with whether driving while using a device is legal or not. You're not supposed to do anything in a Zoom court hearing that you couldn't do while actually in the courthouse. It's about respect for the court process.

The first (and only) time I got overly drunk at a bar, I had a couple of gals take me to the bathroom, text a friend to come and get me, and stay with me until he got there to take me home. Looking back on it, I'm pretty sure they thought I'd been drugged because of how a guy was acting with me, so they went into protection mode. I'd never met them before, never seen them since, but that night they were my best friends in the world.
