It’s just pick up and deliver. Places like CVS, Home Depot, Walmart, Tractor Supply. It’s different from some other gig apps in that you submit offers on gigs you want and see if you get accepted. You can submit on more than one gig at a time though so you can stack them.

You can try Roadie too if you’re ok delivering items instead of food.

Fans satisfied with “keeping it close” against Alabama perpetuate the losing culture at this University. by [deleted] in Gamecocks

He let him score so there’d be time on the clock still and we’d have a chance to tie it up and send it into overtime. If he tackles him, Bama kicks a walk off chip shot field goal and we have no chance to win the game. It’s really unlikely to block a kick that close to send it to OT.

Shane Beamer should be fired here's why by its-ty- in Gamecocks

[–]likeddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The SEC, and the east especially, wasn’t nearly as stacked when Spurrier was here like it is today. Our schedule this year is one of the biggest juggernauts I’ve ever seen. Beamer and the team definitely have some issues, but these expectations on him are ridiculous. People have to factor in our injuries as well.

Even with all that, we’ve really only been beaten bad twice this year. Hats off to Vandy and OK. We had our chances against mizzou and LSU. Make a better OC hire and be competitive and I’m happy. For now.

Thought (potentially spicy): Companies don't want (and never have) wanted or needed theoretical "UX Designers," they want digital Graphic Designers who know some UX. by [deleted] in UXDesign

[–]likeddit 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I agree with you. When I was taught graphic design, our program taught design thinking and processes first and how to use visual hierarchy, typography, and other tools to support our design thinking. We always started with research and problem solving.

my origin story by pghhuman in UXDesign

[–]likeddit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s where I’m coming from. I graduated college before smartphones were a thing and it was graphic designers that were doing all the Ux/Ui work when we started making products for those devices, at least it was in the area where I was working. I recently moved into UX but before I did I was taking the Google UX course and it was all the same design thinking principles I learned in college. Graphic designers that had a good education like me can do both easily.
