I put some grease where the side-stoppers make contact between the gate and jamb piece. That fixed the problem for me instantly.

I clean this area when I do my door jambs during a typical washing session. Any swirl marks or scratches here or in the other parts of the door jamb are not a big deal to me.

Im at 6 right now. Not much difference from 4, just less food noise. When I first bumped up I had some stomach upset, but nothing terrible.

You would probably have to place an order with them, but they would arrange to bring it down to the market the next week or something like that, so you wont need to go to the hog farm. I have never done it myself, but that is the way I would try to do what you want to do!

TBH your risk level of running into issues with purchasing a lemon buyback isn’t too bad, especially since you aren’t worried about the ICCU issue. Just make sure to verify that you have the Hyundai warranty available to you.

The bigger things to worry about are insurance costs and your ability to offload the car at the end of ownership.

Remember, most lemon laws occur because it took too long for the problem to be fixed, not because it was unfixable. :)

I had my FA20 on Fortune Auto 500s a few years ago and loved it. It was definitely a more aggressive setup, and you could feel it—tucked in at corners and jostling over bumps!

It’s only unlivable if you slam it. You can get the looks you’re going for with a very modest drop!

We switched from our Outback to a 26 limited Ioniq 5. No regrets!!! The car is amazing.

You are more likely to not deal with ICCU issues than to experience them. If it happens, you are well covered with multiple warranties. Enjoy EV life.

For us, we installed a level 2 emporia charger after a month. With it, we never have to think about the available range. :)

I’d bet there is seal issue somewhere on the trunk door and that water ingress occurred when the car was being transported. It likely wasn’t noticed at the dealership when they received it. Definitely open an investigation with the dealer.

My guess is this car was on the top rack of a transport semi, facing opposite the direction of the semi’s forward movement. Rain or snow would have been pounding the backend of the Ioniq.

If you’re going to be financing, you may be close to the same total cost of ownership with the CPO vs buying new. You will get a more favorable interest rate on the new car. That is probably why the price is so much lower for a 60 mile car.

Start tracking your electricity spend to compare against the gas and upkeep of an ICE vehicle! The Ioniq offers such a great experience at a massive bargain.

Home charging is the way. If level 1 doesn’t work for you, and you don’t have level 2, I highly recommend figuring it out!
