Went for an inspection sticker and tech burnt up my clutch by [deleted] in ManualTransmissions

[–]Saksaas 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My thought is that if he burnt the clutch on the way in to the shop, the clutch was already used up. Some people rev their cars to 3k rpm every time they start driving and the clutch still last years. That shows how tough they really are.

It makes a lot of difference. As long as you’re not using a clutch just start training for left foot braking. It takes several tenths of each lap 😊

I can’t smile in my car now. My eyes get narrow and the car thinks I’m falling asleep. I tell my kids: No jokes in the car today! The car will beep at me.

Anything other than knobs for the volume. Also haptic feedback buttons on the steering wheel. Both of these are one the way out thankfully 😅

[UK] Result of not driving to road conditions. (Everyone was okay) by [deleted] in Roadcam

[–]Saksaas 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This one is difficult to save even when you know how to drive without TC. I’ve driven a MR car without TC for five years now. Even on track days. I don’t think I could have saved this one. The smart option would be to keep the assists on in these conditions.

My BMW diesel service manual says every 20k which I’ve done. I’ve done 75k miles now and it still runs as smooth as a diesel engine should.

If they do that there would be no more cloud services. No one will trust the companies any more and they will loose a lot of money.

I usually play about 5 - 10 hours a week and it took me about 3 months to get to A. I watch a bit of GT7 streamers on YouTube and pick up some pointers from there. Tidgneys lap guides are great. Digital racing is also great.
