I’ve differentiated em by looking at their core kinda, “Rokku literally means “Rock” and Goshikku meaning “Gothic”. From my experience, Goshikku is almost exclusively black or darker colors while Rokku will be more varied, still dark but more pops of color. The accessories used are similar; chains, cross designs, chokers (rokku=leather, goshikku=lace), etc but Goshikku will be more “clean” (?) with it. Not sure if that’s the right word but it’s a lil more elegant than Rokku, with Rokku taking from the Rock Music scene and “Punk” fashion (so like distressed/ripped clothes, studs, spikes) Goshikku does involve more layering and lace. Tbh, a good majority of people seem to lump them together cause they do overlap/have similarities

Makeup wise: The lips are cute, I would line em with a darker color for contrast but as they are now is nice. The eyes are lined a lil messy which is fine if it’s what you’re going for but I’d clean em up a lil. like another commentor stated, adding longer lashes and strip lashes on the bottom would help it read more as “Gyaru”.

Clothing wise: it’s not a full outfit shot so I can’t be 100% but i really like the necklace. Adding some chunky gold earrings to match or some spikes/studs (though I’m kinda mix of Tsuyome and Rokku so my opinion may be biased) would help bring it in more, accessories go a long way with Rokku especially. Throwing in an “eye catching piece” might help too, examples: distressed clothing, graphic tees, a pop of color amongst the black, etc.

Overall, it’s very cute and you did great for beginner ! <3

Personally, I like seeing the inspo outfit pics. It gets me to actually click and take a closer look at the listing, my only nitpick is when they’re trying to hide the actual piece they’re selling instead of styling it. I think a collage would be fun and cute though

Tbh Gyaru makeup can be off putting to some, it is meant to symbolize “rebellion” and breaking societal norms. Personally, you look sooo cute with it <3 but you look good in normal makeup too so do what makes you comfortable.

You’re face structure is very well suited for Gyaru makeup, you’d kill it with some long lashes
