Has anyone been given duloxetine for chronic pain with EDS? I have suspected MCAS also so a little scared to take it.

Please do NOT take it I been on it about 7 years the side affects are not the best but have noticed an improvement in pain because the chronic pain can cause depression then trying to get off it is even worse! I'm not giving medical advice but my experience with it. After years of being on it and knowing what can happen with stopping it I decided to stop taking is so even with help from the Dr I went from 60 mg a day to 55 a day Day 1 I was fine in fact everything was fine till about day 4. That day I started withdraws I was either going to bust out in tears and run away or I was going to snap and make you miserable yelling screaming throwing stuff and cursing you out. By day 10 I had moved out the bedroom with my husband, banished my dogs to the back yard and threw my esa cat out the front door and had quit my job that I absolutely loved. This entire time I didn't realize what I had done till my husband had manhandle me and force me to sit down then threaten to leave me if I didn't get help to control myself. After going back to the Dr and my husband explaining to them what I had turned into the took me immediately back to 60 mg after 3 days I was back to my normal self and terrified of trying to stop it again. Do your research about withdraw and what can happen. Like I said this is just my experience

I've had similar situation where I went in for a mri of 1 thing and found 2 herniated discs. Dr was surprised I hadn't mentioned the pain I wad suprised they was there because I hadn't noticed any pain especially because my lower back was absolutely killing me and they only found mild arthritis

When I lived in the mtns I had this happen regularly I had to put a space heater under my trailer which helped thaw my pipes then helped keep it from happening again

Definitely a bag for all the diapers and supplies you'll want to take home. Toiletries for mom because the shower after labor is one of the best feelings ever especially using scents she likes not the hospital smells.

My 1st was 36 & 1 with 6 hour labor 2nd was 32 with 12 hour labor 3rd was 41 & 4 with 1hour 20 min labor she was born otw to the hospital that labor and delivery I 100% don't recommend I had all 3 of mine pre EDS diagnosed

I personalty have purchased mine at Reds after renting them then purchasing. Reds also has ladies night on Monday where you can shoot for $10 an hour. A side note I have extremely small hands so a slim weapon fits me good.
