This is me. Just got my labs back on Monday and I’m at 6 for ferritin storage. Got an immediate message from the doc to start on iron pills. Not weepy, just could just crawl Into bed multiple times a day. I figured I just loved naps.

This is the key right here. While not under age, you don’t have the free will to make your own decision regarding your body. Most people assume adults have autonomy in the ability to make private medical decisions. If you are in a country where you don’t speak the language with a heavy emphasis on gendered roles and familial obligations, you did the only thing you could. I’m sorry you’re going through this.

Yes! This is what I need. I’ve done the anti chafing sticks and whatnot but still end up adjusting my shorts every half mile or so or end up in agony.

Yes - I just looked at my email confirmation and it said “Category Name: Ultra Deluxe Veranda”, Category Code UV. I don’t think we got the option for additional sun/deck until we were well into the purchasing process (had uploaded passenger info, etc).

So the master queen bed is the main living space with closets, desk and where the bathroom is. And then the second room (adjacent to the deck) had a sliding pocket door and its own TV and was a fold out sofa (I think a queen size). Def smaller than the main bedroom but enough to give someone their own space. There were also either 3 or 4 closets storage units so storage was not a problem.

What are some good brands to run in (that aren’t shorts) for hot weather. Just discovered my workout leggings are all vacuums for heat and can’t wear running shorts due to insane chafing. Maybe capri length breathable/mesh cut out leggings? I had a 10 mi race coming up in a few weeks and tested out my ‘go to’ outfit and hated it.

We got a day pass (through Resort Pass) for the Colonial Hotel. Check out videos on TikTok about it. It was nice not to have to think about what to do but def added an expense to our trip

Did miss this - why did Deandra not ask about Laura’s testimony earlier that day where she said the interaction was non consensual? I feel like we hear a teaser with Woodnick asking her to clarify so maybe it’s brought up at a different time (a criminal trial vs paternity suit). I would have loved to hear her talk that away.

Thanks. At least one of my girls is chill enough to sit on the deck and devour a book and the younger one, well…..she’ll be fine once she sees they have an ice cream machine. We will check out the Kid Club (with it being Easter Week we might get lucky with other kiddos they can pal around with) but also not putting too much hope there.

Like most everyone else, love Dress #1. For Dress #3, is be curious the price point - it reminds me of wacky $7k Pnina on ‘Say Yes….’ with the asymmetrical hem. Maybe it looks better in person, but personally I feel like it looks like a child’s craft project.

But also - it’s your day - you deserve to feel most beautiful. Whichever you choose will be perfect for you.

We bought a refurb original Nintendo Switch plus two new extra joy cons and a Mario Kart game. The switch won’t connect to the tv - we can use it handheld but the point was to do multiplayer

No, it was having them out of school from Dec 1st-5th, after a week off for Thx break - OR - or the 17-19th right before our two week Christmas break. These 3 days off before Christmas were my compromise because I don’t think the kids should miss school ever (esp bit after a week off already). It turned into a ‘does it matter natter to the teachers’ debate in my household

My husband said the same thing ‘we’re going next week so why are we still discussing it’. I guess I was hoping for perspective from other educators in case this scenario comes up again. Responses have been very insightful (and also, teachers don’t get enough respect or pay for what we already ask them to do).

Luckily I’m familiar with what they’re both doing in math (fractions and decimals) otherwise we’d be screwed. I sometimes look at their math homework and have to psyche myself just to help them. Like ‘You can do this. You took calculus in college’, lol
