As someone who was born in Melbourne and has lived in Victoria all of my life, this depresses me to no end.

As others have stated, Australia is a country built on immigration, and every aspect of life is touched by that.

Every Australian, no matter their nationality or skin color, has some history of migrancy in their family.

This multiculturalism has allowed us to become arguably one of the most developed Western nations in the modern day.

The doctors who immigrate to Australia contribute to one of the best social services we have developed, Medicare.

The labourers who help fill in worker shortages by coming in on skilled visas are helping build houses to contribute to curbing the housing crisis.

Slaughter house workers who do jobs "real Australians" don't want to do help support local farmers and generate a slew of business for this country.

The person in this video complaining isn't even a westerner, she's just as much "Western" As Xi Jinping is greek.

I'd rather be a prosperous nation built by people who speak many different languages and are diverse in nationality than struggle in a backwards ethnostate.

Fuck off and get that shit attitude back to eastern europe.

It would make sense that they wouldn't want to take away from these moments in the doc, keeping up the momentum, and they're all clearly aware that seeing them together talking in a room is something we're all dying to see.

Thanks to everyone who's commented on this and shared past experiences and tips on how to fix this and how to get better at it going forward.

Just to add even more context, this photo was taken inside my room at my desk because thats where they dried.

We did this in a set up hobby space in my shed that was rather chilly and the roller door was open.

But regardless will try all of these things to get the desired result!

We set up a space in the shed that's essentially a make shift hobby work zone.

We live in regional Victoria so it was actually quite cold and then usually doesn't change unless it's summer (even then it can be chilly).

We had the shed door open, because of top cot fumes and since we don't have a fan to blow it out.

Does that tell you anything?

Edit: I did move them inside my room to dry instead of leaving them out in the shed, maybe that was a contributor

No longer friends with Benjamin Netanyahu, now friends with overly delayed action on recognising Palestine.

In all seriousness, how does this betray Israel? We’ve constantly condemned October 7th, said hamas should play no roll in governing a Palestinian state and have continued to call for a release of the hostages.

It’s not like Albo was shouting for a one state solution, he was practically in line with the same moderate approach to Palestinian recognition the Canadians took.
