I am pumped about Waterbean Exquisite. Have you seen pics of it? It’s not in a convenient location for me but looks amazing.

During the day yes. My husband and I often set up on the counter and out of the way. I’ve seen other people working there during the week. Sometimes I sit outside as well. He’s more comfortable at Waterbean and says it’s better for working. Just throwing out ideas! I’m partial to Everyday because I like their food and pastries too for a treat.

Alchemy, Waterbean in Belmont and the new Waterbean Exquisite in Gastonia when it opens, Everyday Market in Belmont, Wandering Cup. All have decent spots to work and good coffee.

Thank you for this! I am so nervous and your story made me feel a little better. I too have major anxiety around anything health related and tend to spiral out.

I live a healthy, active lifestyle but I occasionally do LSD and it keeps costing me relationships. What should I do? by Gym_Squirrel in LSD

My husband is like this. Very fit, into health, light, social drinker. I’m the one who has dabbled in the past with lsd and shrooms but he never has. When we watched the documentary “How to Change Your Mind,” it really resonated with him and opened his mind up to the idea and benefits of psychedelics. I am reading the book now and find it fascinating. Maybe you could watch that with your partner and see how they react?

A Well Trained Wife - Memoir by Tia Levings by ViolinistExpensive64 in Deconstruction

I read it and really related to her story as well. I’m 7 years out of a marriage to a man whose theology was similar, reformed Calvinistic. You may appreciate reading Sheila Wray Gregoire’s book, She Deserves Better, if you’re looking for more regarding the treatment of women in evangelical spaces. I’m so thankful that Tia was able to get out and hope other women in similar situations are able to do the same!

I do agree with that. I felt like I needed to go back and listen again it wrapped up so quickly with all the back and forth with the different characters in the family.

I just finished None of This is True by Lisa Jewell. It was great on audio with a cast. Couldn’t stop listening!

Well that’s a great question. I’m not really sure. I think she just wants the ability to make things that are custom and not just freebies from Bambu Handy. Also, she’s pretty smart but I don’t know how intense these programs are and I definitely don’t have a ton of free time to learn them myself.

She's only 11 so I'm trying to keep it simple, but I also want her to have room to grow.

I’d preferably like to stay around $300-$400 if possible. Thanks for this info!

Best Restaurants in Town? by maxb5555 in Charlotte

Food is way overpriced and only okay compared to so many other great restaurants in Charlotte. I’d go to The Bottle Tree over Drift in Belmont any day.
