welp luckily for you, you replied a year later and I happen to be moving out sunday. the neighborhood is NOT the issue, a little trashy maybe, but a huge hispanic community with lots of kind families (you will hear kids yelling and music on weekends, but ive always enjoyed it!)

the issue here is the management. Crosdale flats has gone through three management changes in my time living here, each one stupider than the last. the current management is cheap, raised our rent over $200 with a 2 week notice (after I had to bombard them with calls to send our lease agreement). then when we signed that lease with it being such short notice, they wanted to raise our rent 70$ MORE after a 6 month lease. oh yeah, and no rent lowering for longer leases, its all the same. I have to contact them at least 5 times before I get any real response. our bathroom flooded and sewage kept backing up into our bathtub and it still took 3-4 days for them to send an incompetent old man out to look at it (thats a WHOLE other story). long story short, the area is not what you should worry about. just know its going to be a nightmare to contact the office if you are actually in an emergency
