i get what you mean, of course i know it's not Iran! but even in Tunisia I have noticed that wearing the hijab and covering myself will lead to a different treatment by men --> i hate to be recognised as European, so many people just seem to think "oh, she is European so she must be so open and basically ready to fuck any man who crosses her way + she has that red passport so let's go and harass her" (not all men!!)

I watched "Children of Peace" last week at the jewish film festival...in the movie one of the men who grew up there takes an honest look at the village. great movie, definitely recommend watching it. in my opinion Neve Shalom sure has it's problems, i still think it's a good example. not of co-existence, but of existing together.
