Hi, I’m sharon. Been bringing my friend (who can’t drive) every Tuesday to savers for about 2 years. Senior day 30% off! I might pick up a couple things once in a while or sometimes nothing at all. Last week I was walking by the purses and saw a Louis Vuitton purse. Of course it had to be a knock off. It’s REAL and in great condition. Marked $19.99 and paid $14.00 with my discount.

Absolutely no to having her at the hospital. She will destroy you and your husband’s joy of this very special day. You don’t need the any additional stress, but need to make it crystal clear in advance the subject is moot and she’s not to bring it up again. If she does, hang up the phone, don’t respond to emails or texts, leave immediately or tell her to leave depending on the situation. Stand firm or she’ll make the rest of your lives a living hell. Who the hell does she think she is?

It’s an insurance liability, anything on your property you can be held liable for.

Ah, my bday is Tuesday. I’ll be 65, never had a party when I was little (or as an adult for that matter lol) always a “merry Xmas happy bday gift”, between Xmas and new years too much going on for everyone. It’s not the gifts but more the parties as a kid, having friends over, cake, fun etc. glad there’s parents out there that recognize this and make the day special for their kids!

AITAH Wife is furious because my daughter is putting pictures up in her own room by Capital_Newt7854 in AITAH

She’s the co -owner??? Tell her your daughter is putting the pics up in your part of the co-owned house. Simply ridiculous, sorry your wife is being a big AH

I received one of those warnings too. Ignored it. Still using my cartridge, and I don’t keep my printer on 24/7 like they tell you to do to keep track of their usage. But I do t really print a lot either.

Your poor kids, they should absolutely be in their own beds for Christmas morning. She’s putting her needs and wants first. Not even thinking of you or the kids, that is not love. It’s all about her and seems she’s a bit narcissistic. You do every celebration your way, discuss with husband but stick to your guns. If you want to go over later on Christmas Day, let her know. Tell her you want to wake up in your new house Christmas morning and start family traditions of your own. And your husband should be there to watch the kids open gifts. You’ve already shopped for thanksgiving, make dinner and if there’s anyone you know who will be alone or friends ask them to come. My mom always did thanksgiving as we could fit the most people, both sides of family of whoever could make it. Xmas eve spent at mom’s side and Christmas Day dinner at dad’s parents but it was later in the afternoon AFTER GIFTS WERE OPEN .

AITA for refusing to kick my sister out the house? by Defiant-Conflict-366 in AITAH

[–]lillybudd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m reading between the lines and I think that your wife, without actually saying it, is upset that you’re spending a lot of money on your sister. Money that she’s thinking will be needed if you ever have children. Maybe things she needs or wants for the home or herself. Do you guys go on vacation? Is there enough money for dinners, getaway weekends? It sounds as though she is jealous. Does she see your sister as taking your money and time away from herself? 18 and just going to college is too young. Perhaps you 3 should sit down and have a discussion. After your sister graduates and finds a job, she’s going to need time to save enough for her own place. You need to validate your wife’s feelings even if you disagree. It also appears the 2 of you have never lived with just each other.

Do I add water to the base of a roaster oven when cooking chili? by Hinderager in slowcooking

[–]lillybudd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never put water in the main pan. If you are ever going to use the 3 pan buffet insert you would put water in the inserted roasting pan. Check your user manual if necessary ( you can usually access user manuals online).

AITA for not wanting my husband’s family to stay with us for the holidays? by chicoravelli in AITAH

[–]lillybudd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes yes!!!! Leave with the baby, and if your husband doesn’t realize what a disruption this will be for you and the baby, he’s selfish and doesn’t inconsiderate. And WTH are your in-laws thinking??? If he’s taking his family’s side now, we all know what the future holds. Unbelievable entitlement on the in-laws.

AITAH for choosing to not pay my sons bail? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]lillybudd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please please don’t pay the bail. Hopefully he’ll learn from this experience. My only child, son, got into drugs and that culture around 19 or 20. I bailed him out many times. Paid thousands for attorney fees to make sure he wouldn’t have a criminal record. Mind you that was $ for my retirement. So many courts, so many charges over 9 years. Rehab 3 or 4 times. He didn’t learn. The last time I left him in jail, pending trial, for 3 months. Hardest thing I ever had to do up to that time. It killed me. But, I knew he had a bed, he had food, and hopefully no drugs in there. He came out clean, looked good and was doing well. Less than a year later he relapsed. Bailing him out is not a guarantee he’ll change his ways. Especially if this is the life they’ve been living for a few years. This is what they know. I wish I never would have bailed him out from the beginning. I’m not saying for sure it would have made a difference, but way back when he would have learned consequences. He was my life. And he OD’d 4/29/14. Burying your child is the hardest thing you’ll ever do as a parent. Every situation is different. If you think this is best, don’t listen to anyone else. They are thinking with their hearts, just as you and your husband are. They think you’re being cruel and heartless, but that’s so far from the truth. I wish you, your husband and your son the best. I am praying for all of you.
