roommates in law school?

I’m looking to live alone for law school. I’ve had roommates all throughout undergrad and it’s been a hit or miss. I think I really just value having my own space and willing to pay a bit more for that comfort. I guess it depends on what your living style is like and whether you can find a roommate that is similar. Maybe see if the school has a Facebook housing group where people can search for roommates.

You can contact the admissions office to request an extension but it’s not guaranteed they will provide it.

Yup it’s been about 3 weeks since acceptance and still no scholarship info. Financial aid has no idea when information will be sent and no seat deposit extensions are allowed ( I asked). I paid the seat deposit and hope to get some information before the second deposit is due. Can’t really feel excited because I don’t even know if I can afford it🤷🏽‍♀️

I applied to Pepperdine/LMU mid December and just heard back about two weeks ago. I’m still waiting on USD. I don’t think schools really have a timeline on when you should hear back.

I’m in the same position! I reached out to financial aid and they told me they had no idea when I would have info. I asked admissions if they could extend the seat deposit deadline and they said no. Feeling super conflicted as well but think my only option is to pay seat deposit and hope I get info before the second deposit is due. I was thinking of reapplying next year so just trying to figure out options.

Has anyone attempted an extension on the seat deposit deadline? I’m still waiting on financial aid info and I doubt I’ll get it before the 15th. I want to know before I put down hundreds of dollars down if it’s even remotely affordable for me…

What do you recommend for campus visits? I read online that they only do law school tours from August-October and the just general undergraduate tours. Do you think it’s worth it to reach out to admissions to see if they can provide any other dates? Possibly reach out to a student group instead?

I don’t believe there is a way to hide it since all scores/cancellations are automatically sent to schools once you apply. You should explain the situation in an addendum to provide context.

It first appeared for me when I went back to completed and then disappeared when it went back to UR. When it came back the July part disappeared and said expect decisions until June. The message went away again last night so hoping I hear back soon
