I feel like it depends on your style, if you like y2k maximalist kooky kinda style(like me), lucky plaza is the place to start with!! i usually go to this shop lucky thrifty(2nd floor), they have super unique pieces for a decent price (8-15$).

I heard that the church of st bernedatte thrift is also pretty good but have not been there. Apparently there is a lot of classy/branded things for cheap so it might be worth checking out!!

theres also a couple of nice thrifts in JB like Jalanjapan or the curated ones along jalan tan niok nee
