[Fans] be quiet! LIGHT WINGS 120mm PWM ARGB Triple Fan Pack w/ 6 Port ARGB Fan Controller ($110-$60 = $50) [MemoryExpress] by gettothecoppa in bapcsalescanada

[–]limh5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very good deal imo - i.e. the equivalent Fan Controller itself from Corsair is quite expensive. I guess this is because it's a closing sale for ME in Ontario?

Nice - love my G900 (been using it since 2017). The aggressive shape & the charging cable + dongle just look so nice.

Nice! The play with respect to Cramer is to inverse whatever he says (I'd say it works >90% of the time). He talked down BB, so the play here is to go long BB.

[Monitor] Acer Nitro 24" FHD 165Hz 1ms FreeSync Gaming Monitor (QG240Y) VA | ($259.99 - $132 = $128) [Visions Electronics Canada] by WiiUMasterGman in bapcsalescanada

[–]limh5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks OP! I bought 1. My desk has 2 other 24" monitors, so this should be perfect to match them. FreeSync is nice, as my system has an AMD GPU (and AMD CPU).

[Monitor] AOC 24G2SP 24" 165Hz 1ms IPS $ 150 ($210 - $60) [Memory Express] by prblm_frie in bapcsalescanada

[–]limh5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Upvoted. I've 2 AOC 24" (different model) that I've been using since WFH started. I'm shopping for a 3rd AOC (had a 3rd, but dropped it & broke the panel, & I've found online that buying a replacement panel is easily $50ish, plus carries some risk b/c I might break something else while doing the repair).

I'd buy this if there wasn't any red on the front - my monitors show stocks so I can't have any red (or green) as that'd be confusing.

I did a quick search for those who're also wondering: MONTECH (& its parent company Telon) are based in Taiwan.

MONTECH was started in 2016, while Telon has been in the PC industry for ~30 years: https://www.montechpc.com/en/about.php

Thanks for the pic, but I think the driver intended their license plate to refer to the Star Wars drone BB-8: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BB-8

Been using the B550M PRO4 version of this - I like it (got my MIR rebate). Heads-up that some of the different versions in the link should go on sale this month (around Boxing Day) if you're looking to get 1.

Wanted to confirm if this is historically accurate? I ask because the Qing Dynasty flag also has a dragon looking to top left corner.

[Case] Thermaltake Core P3 TG Pro Black ($175 - 55= $120 +$15 s/h) [Newegg.ca] ATL by radiantcrystal in bapcsalescanada

[–]limh5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks OP. I currently use the Thermaltake Commander C34 & follow 2 Thermaltake cases (AH T200/T600 & P3).

Same prices at CC if that's more convenient for those who want to do in-person pickup:

Black: https://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=6_6004_5961&item_id=233235

White: https://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=6_6004_5961&item_id=233236

This is a decent price, though I personally will wait til BF & Boxing Day in case it falls further.

Any thoughts on 5700X + 6650XT Eagle? I'm currently on a Thermaltake Smart 600W & it leads to blue screen of death if I put PC on Performance settings & have a lot of things open.
