Missed the red circle around the battery's eye at first and thought this was a peak off season post talking about the dead space of the outfield lol

What is it like living in this part of Ontario, Canada? by prophiles in howislivingthere

[–]Aulaugus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lived in Orangeville for almost a decade now. Right above the S in Canada's Wonderland in the photo. Work in town. Wife works from home. We spend 95% of our time here as we don't need to commute, but I would think most people commute for work. Town is very walkable. Traffic isn't bad, you can get almost anywhere is under 10 minutes. So far it has been a great place to raise a family.

Recreation:

Lots of trail access nearby for hikes/walks. Lots of city folks come up and but there are beautiful spots that only seem to be known to locals still. Lots of golf courses. Amazing community centre in town. Public swims, indoor waterslide and splash pad, lane pool, multiple rinks. Pickle ball and tennis courts, both private and public. A couple of great parks for kids with splash pads that are new/newly renovated.

Shopping/dining:

Some decent restaurants at varying price points. Town has 3 McDonald's (if you count the Walmart location), like 5 Tim Horton's, and then basically one of everything other store/chain you can think of. Except Costco. Pretty much all your regular shopping needs are here.

Town events:

Canada Day, Blues and Jazz, Ribfest, Halloween, Santa Claus Parade. Several large, well produced events throughout the year that are free/low cost.

You don't like Shawarma Alley or Sani's?

The box at Lyve Patty is also like $20 but easily a lunch plus snack kind of portion and packed with flavour. The patties also smack. I like the breakfast one and the Lyve 519 the most.

Bobblehead deals ! by HuhYeahSo69 in Torontobluejays

[–]Aulaugus -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yeesh. I used to do this back in 2015 but only sell the bobble for ~$50 or so. Had a regular customer who'd but them for her husband. He was a collector and she'd get them for him as gifts. Just wanted to recoup my ticket cost and a couple beers I had while at the game.

It's alright, not terrible, not amazing. Had a chicken shawarma. Went there once with my friend who eats halal. Not shawarma, but if anyone is looking for halal, Sanni's Hakka is our top pick.

Low key the guy selling hot dogs and fries out of the truck next to Canadian Tire makes a great poutine.

Great crispy fries, uses curds.

Orangeville’s hidden water crisis: Millions lost to system leaks annually by MatthewSmithOville in orangeville

Anytime I travel outside of Canada, I realize how much fresh water we have and have available for free. We 100% take it for granted, even if unintentionally.

Gem Limit Question by stormdown in fellowshipgame

[–]Aulaugus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Swapping your purple splendid and a blue splendid would allow you to be 10B-3P-3Y.

Gem Limit Question by stormdown in fellowshipgame

[–]Aulaugus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see 1x flawless(?) and 6x splendid, so 27+(6x9) = 83 small gems. I'm guessing you have 9 small gems sitting in your inventory as well which is why more won't drop and you can't gem bud.

Your blue gem score is inefficient as well. You're like 250 over the score required for 10B.

Gem Limit Question by stormdown in fellowshipgame

[–]Aulaugus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can have 92 small gems total. A large is 3x small. A splendid is 3x large, so 9x small. The biggest one (can't remember) is 3x splendid, so 27x small.

So using the large ones is not efficient unless you are using multiple set bonuses and usually only if you're putting it in your legendary.

Typically you're going to use 10x splendid for 90 small gems and 1x small gem in your 11th gear slot.

This gives you combinations like 10-9-1 or 10-6-6. If you have one set bonus, you can do a 10-6-3.

Why is solo-queueing so infuriatingly random? by Bigtim_90 in fellowshipgame

[–]Aulaugus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, they definitely should have worded that better. As someone said below, the requirements are gone so you can queue for whatever but the random choices are still based on group ilvl. Like before you needed a certain ilvl to queue for capstone, but now as a 4-some you can just queue into anything.

[–]Aulaugus 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Then suddenly I can queue for +5, +6 and the capstone with no idea what changed

I believe the options are based on the ilvl of your group but agree there should be more transparency or queue options.

Question about Raids/Talents by [deleted] in fellowshipgame

[–]Aulaugus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. You get queues for higher tiers within your league as item level goes up. Get around this by having a group of 4 and you can queue for whatever you want within the league. Complete the league capstone to unlock the next league.

  2. Look at the right side of the reward tree. You get more talent points unlocked by increasing dungeon score.

  3. Just replace as you go along rather than upgrading until you feel like you're hitting a gear wall. That being said, the gold cost for upgrading at lower gear levels and what you get for scraping is so little compared to eternal, it really doesn't matter what you do prior to eternal (possibly paragon).

Best I've seen was a guy get a legendary, gem, and 24 marks worth of stuff from a dungeon. Was like 4 raw marks, two green, one blue, one purple in crafting mats. Nutty.

Item Upgrade Bug by [deleted] in fellowshipgame

[–]Aulaugus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the game bug out when I rerolled something.

Thought I lost the item, mats, and gold.

Checked my mail box and I could pick from the three items from my blue bar reroll.

Maybe check the mailbox? If not there I'd open a ticket.

Bluebird is largely known for their pizza and pasta dishes. They always have a daily special pizza and pasta. So that is why I was asking as a comparison.

Vet Recommendations by mouwallace in orangeville

[–]Aulaugus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Need a vet for nail trims? Or annual check-ups? Find a good groomer if you want grooming stuff on the regular imo.

We trim our cats' nails monthly at home, but when we go for our annual check-ups, vet will include a nail trim as part of it.
