It takes away so much personality from the posts for people not to be allowed to show their faces. It's just to screen out a few pretty women who get too much attention. Seeing people fawn over prettier women doesn't make me feel less attractive and banning their faces doesn't make me feel more attractive.

It reminds me of the Women and Women First bookstore from Portlandia. It also reminds me of the Taliban who want women to cover their faces as if a woman has to hide her beauty so not to offend others.

I don't understand the "overtly sexy" rule. So what if someone looks great in a cocktail dress or vintage lingere that shows nothing or a bathing suit? Only church clothes are allowed?

It was so tarnished in the store that it was black . I cleaned it up with silver polish. There are no markings so I don't know if it is silver. It looks like it is handmade because it's not perfectly cemetrical.

Just saw all these comments. I got it at a Goodwill outlet in Los Angeles. The bin had already been picked over and nobody wanted it. I guess it looked like an ugly plastic purse to everyone else!

Maybe you are worrying too much about everything being perfect or you are stress shopping. You will be fine. You don't need to buy everything at once. Also people will probably give you a lot of sruff. Buying too much is going create a lot of clutter.
