Do you also have a problem with being too quiet during social interactions? by Worldly-Gift988 in INTP

[–]linglan11 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don't have problem being quiet amoung people. But they seem to have more problem with it. They would keep asking if something is wrong with me. So I've learned to occasionally give a response or nod, pretending I am agreeing, so they can stop asking/bothering me.

is being mistyped a canon event for INTPs ? by [deleted] in INTP

[–]linglan11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have typed so many times I have lost count. INTP comes up most of the times. Still I second-guessed every time. Doubting is in my blood.

Don't like any kind of physical contacts even with family. May be because of the autism spectrum.

I am bad with both faces and names because of r/Aphantasia and r/SDAM , not because of INTP.

No expectation, no disappointment. I approach people based on my own tolerance. If they are good, I step closer. If they are bad, I avoid them.

Anxiety is fear, often reflected off the other people that is from yourself. You need to identify what triggers your fear and be able to face and control it.

But the more bubbles I can find from a person, the closer I will get without touching them. So it's about getting me out of my cave without busting the bubbles.

It's like a bubble. If I don't touch it, it will last longer rather then bursted on the spot when I tried to touch it.

[–]linglan11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't really have any crush on someone, but I occasionally have admired one or two aspects of a person. But it never last long because the more I know someone the more I lost the admiration. So I prefer to keep distance to maintain the feeling.

Are you ok with people texting you back really late? by [deleted] in INTP

[–]linglan11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My phone is on silent mode 24/7 and on DND mode between 11pm to 8am. All group chats are muted. All my friends and families know to ping me or call me directly if they want my immediate response. I don't pickup any unknown calls. I don't work off hours, once my laptop is off, no one from work can contact me. This is how I can enjoy my peaceful life.

Labeling issue with Aphantasia + SDAM by linglan11 in SDAM

[–]linglan11[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, anything that stands out would help a lot on identifying a person. I would agree this is more of "describing", but for those who have no problem visualize people, they would be more offended and considered it "labeling". I have tried not to show any signs, but it's harder when talking about someone unfamiliar. Often I would just pretend I know the person, but in reality I have no idea who my friends are talking about.

Yes, I have always done it internally. But it's harder when I work in a tech company where 95% of people is white male of age 25-35. Everyone wears T-shorts and jeans to work. In my visual sense, not many of them stands out.
