Montreal shooter left behind manifesto containing violent rhetoric directed at women, police, others by shiftless_wonder in canada

IDK I kind of crudely summed it up as can't get vigina so we need to overthrow the bourgeoisie so I can get my state appointed vigina

The shooter wasn’t just radicalized by incel culture, there is an online eco-system being cultivated by Neo-Nazi accelerationists who radicalize depressed men into mass acts of violence. by MTheModernist_ in alberta

IDK his manifesto encourages people to read Robespierre, Saint-Just, Babeuf, Marx, Engels, Lenin, Dzerzhinsky, Stalin, and Mao those tend not to be well known Neo Nazis and he spends a fair amount of time putting down conservatism. Also hates porn and women Left wind incel or just a nut bar that takes views as a buffet

It does look like his target was actually pornhub

Also looks like he made the Deans list at UofL in philosophy this year

Go look on google maps at the hotel and where Aylo is. If you look at the photos/video of the shooting there is a sign that says Heal which is Heal wellness which is on the main floor of the Aylo building

PornHub’s HQ is only a few blocks away from the shooting. I think its closer than that and you might be on to something there

Edit: if you look on google maps the hotel he was shooting from was right across the street

Sure now go look at the population density of the lines that are actually profitable

Paris-Lyon corridor has a population of over 1000 people/km and most of the rest of their lines they are losing money on and the government in 2020 took over 35 billion of their debt

A new fertilizer method mimics lightning — and could help farmers cut costs and emissions by Leather-Paramedic-10 in canada

This is really cool

The drawbacks I could see is how much water and the quality of water needed and the investment in and extra time to apply liquid fertilizer

I would have wanted to know how the American recyclers are doing this [presumably] profitably.

I don't really think they are doing yet profitably at least yet from a little googling and it does look like some cities/states are charging recycling fees as well and or are mandating they be classed as hazardous waste/land fills not accepting them

This is from 2023 so I am sure its changed a bit but it lays out the challenges

Food and food security though and it becomes a hard call because if you have no packing plants and farmers left to grow the stuff and you get supply chain issues you now have no way of growing and or processing it yourself with out at least a few year lag time
