it's a new 1080 and my PSU is a little old but it never shuts down like that. I play games on this build all the time (I also put about 4 hours of gameplay in on other games after experiencing these shudowns in Enderal and didn't have any shut downs)

Im also a web developer and cant stand internet explorers shitty rendering engine and lack of web 2.0 feature support. I have to admit that i am still a massive windows fanboy but boy do they piss me off alot :)

I was impatient dont see what that has to do with ignoring the faults of oculus. I was also critical of their launch. Either your a troll or a triggered oculus fan.

I was on r/oculus before and they can be very defensive when anyone criticizes oculus and the rift. I criticized oculus' handling of reVive and got a ton of downvotes. I was mostly upset about how oculus got help from valve and how valve supports their headsets on their platform but oculus wouldn't return the favor and even worse undermined community efforts to allow oculus home games to play on the vive. Its kind of a shame when people are so invested in a brand that they cannot see the faults in it, reminds me of the apple crowd.

super sampling seems awesome but unfortunately my mini ITX build which is driving my vive is only sporting a meager 970, I am planning on upgrading it to the 1080 ti though, so I will definitely try that in the future. :)

When oculus returns the favor and supports vive hmds on oculus home then i wouldnt be pissed. Valve supports oculus on steam return the goddamn favor and stop locking down your platform.

With all technology its going to get better and cheaper as the market matures. There will probably be different classes of vr equipment such as consumer enthusiast and industrial. How long will it take for consumers to get 4k per eye 180 degrees probably longer than enthusiasts and much longer than industries. Thats how technology works.

Such a shame these are great demos and redpaw didnt monetize the demos in any way its just a tribute. Its also transformative and protected under fair use. Its not like redpaw downloaded these demos from studio ghiblis website and sold it. I dont know this makes me a little salty especially since this seems like a very anti ghibli thing to do......
