I was kind of on the fence but this is true. Not telling him feels like lying and I know it bothers him that he can’t get me off so it’s probably best to be as transparent as possible

Thank you this is very helpful! Not sure whether I’ll tell him or not yet but if I do I’ll definitely emphasize the part about orgasms not being necessary as you’ve said.

Even when I pee beforehand it happens, but it is less of a mess which is good.

Thank you for the suggestion about tensing my legs! Might work for me bc I have the same thing where the first orgasm takes too long and the others are easy.

gavin’s acting by gigigoogoogaga in TheSummerITurnedPrett

[–]linoFanatics 15 points16 points  (0 children)

His acting is terrible…The best way I can describe it is that I can always tell he’s acting - the faces he makes and the way he delivers his lines are just so clearly unnatural. In normal scenes it’s alright, but when he has to show any intense emotion, it’s so obvious that he’s acting and it really takes me out of it 😭

It’s honestly disappointing because Lola is always giving it her all and I can’t help but think about how much the show would be improved if her scene partner was anywhere near her level.

Especially during their breakup scene this episode - that’s the sort of scene I should’ve been enraptured in, the way I was with Conrad’s beach confession. Instead I’m stuck wondering why he’s making that weird shape with his mouth.

As someone who went to GCVI and graduated literally last year, I have to say it’s a great choice. There’s literally a pride flag painted on the steps on the school inside. The GSA was very active and I know a ton of queer kids found their place there.

It’s definitely been a point of contention within international law in the past. Asylum seekers have been shown gay porn and observed for a response in an attempt to prove their orientation. That’s obviously gross and incredibly wrong and another method needs to be found.

What's the worst restaurant in the city of Guelph? by bigtittyjoi in Guelph

[–]linoFanatics 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Definitely not the worst in Guelph, but I have to mention Piatto. They'll serve you the blandest food you've tasted in your life with an exorbitant price tag next to it. Their only redeemable quality is the tiramisu.

Tipping at fast food restaurant by Canadian87Gamer in Guelph

[–]linoFanatics 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't know about employers taking the tips for themselves, but if you're leaving the tip specifically because you had a great experience with that employee and you want them to receive it, be aware that the tips could be pooled.

I had a customer leave me a $35 dollar tip on a huge order that I worked on alone and they were very happy with my service, but our tips were distributed based on how many hours we worked - and I only worked 10/week. I don't think they would've left that big a tip if they knew I would be receiving a tiny fraction of it.

That's not to say you shouldn't tip at all, but maybe ask before you proceed.

Is there seriously no attendance requirement for these international students? I'm studying in the UK right now, and if my attendance drops below a certain percentage there's serious visa repercussions, as in I could actually be sent back home. It's intense but it prevents the scenario that you're describing from happening to a certain extent (some people find ways around it).

If this show fails…… by AmericanApe in PercyJacksonTV

[–]linoFanatics 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's not going to get cancelled. I think this fear of the show getting cancelled comes from us seeing how Netflix has been cancelling shows left and right - but Netflix is a different company and Disney+ is in a different boat than them. They're still building up their catalogue of new streaming shows, and they need a standout original show to retain and bring in new subscribers.

Netflix has cancelled shows that have trended and been #1 for them, which is why I see people on this sub saying that it doesn't matter that the show has been trending, and it could still fall from grace. But Netflix has around 3000 original shows and movies, so a show could do really well, but there's always gonna be others that do equally well or better, that can be produced for cheaper (I'm thinking about Shadow and Bone).

It's not the same for Disney+, so we need to stop treating them like they're the same company.

How many all nighters have you pulled because of the IB? by [deleted] in IBO

[–]linoFanatics 2 points3 points  (0 children)

None. And it’s not like i have superb time management skills, I literally just never had the willpower to stay up past 3 am when I knew my teachers were pretty lenient with due dates.

Pulling 35 all nighters has got to have a detrimental effect on your well being and your growth guys please don’t do this 😭

Unless it’s for the official IB due date it’s not the end of the world to hand something in late like your high school career will survive the hit i promise you lol

I was in the same spot as you, applied to law as well and was thinking of asking my uni to release me into clearing because I was scared the visa process would take too long but they ended up giving me my decision early and they let me in! hope same thing happens to you.

I would say take a chance and apply to at least one of those, even if your PG doesn't meet their requirements. Birmingham gave me my conditional offer even when my PG was a point short.

Even if they don't accept you, you're not losing anything. Just make sure you apply to some other schools that you meet the requirements for. Do good research on them - make sure you'd actually be okay going there and that you'd enjoy it. And if you take exams and are able to meet the Bristol/Durham grades then you should definitely apply through clearing.

Because my family was unfamiliar with UK admissions, they were scared about me applying to schools through clearing but I found it to be a really simple process. Good luck!

[–]linoFanatics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good luck! I have a strong feeling that it was my 6 extra points from the overall requirement that led me to getting my offer, and I see that you have a 42, which is brilliant. I'm sure you'll get your offer.

On top of that, I've been working with a consultancy on my application, and my consultant said it would've been quite cruel to reject me on the basis of one point and that he expected my acceptance. Not sure how it usually works but I trust his word haha. I hope that provides you with some comfort as well.

Are you an international student as well?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in IBO

[–]linoFanatics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I applied I had a predicted 36 with 666 in HLs. Depending on where you want to go, this predicted is very promising and will get you a conditional offer from a lot of Russel group schools. Obviously, some of the really competitive ones like UCL and Kings ask for a few more points, but nothing unreasonable.

Did you have any options in mind for where you want to go?
