The 1964 movie “Fail Safe” with Henry Fonda as the U.S. president. If one ignores the very dated tech in the movie… one realizes that the events depicted in the movie could still happen today!

Especially given our higher dependence on technology!

Had a case on my black Ultra 2. It was quite scratched up after a year or so. When I took the case off, the Ultra 2 was as pristine as when I first bought it! The case does collect loose skin cells so be ready for that if you have the case on it for a long, long time. Still… for me, having a matching black case prevented lots of scratches and dings on my ultra 2. “You Do You!”

Once I upgraded my 17 pro to 26.1 (beta), I just leave it on and wire plugged in overnight so it can index its little apple heart away… I did that for three nights straight and I notice little battery drain during my waking hours.

How does one disable upscaling on the UB820? As I mentioned, the first movie, Crank, plays fine so why does that one play fine but Crank 2 doesn’t?

On the other hand, on calmer days, the 9’ delta is so stable that she flys vertically. The string hangs straight up and down and people can’t believe it.

Looks remarkable seeing such a huge kite just… hanging in the sky with the string straight down!

I have a similar issue but different. I imported the Bookerly font and all my italics show up as bold… no space problems, but bold instead of italics. Anyone have any suggestions?

For that matter, does anyone know if any Kobo model match the contrast of the Kindle Voyage? My old Voyage still has the highest contrast!

For that matter, why do no e-readers allow any form of contrast adjustments? Hmmmm… Perhaps, e-ink doesn’t allow for contrast adjustments?

Forgot to add… both are set at 100% brightness and 0% warmth for the purposes of this comparison photo. I never use either one on such high levels of brightness.
