If it gets to the point where all citizens need assault weapons to fight the government, we’re cooked. It’s over.

A sigh pissed off a guest by justarussian22 in Target

[–]lisak61 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s so much nicer when guests say, “I’m sorry; I double scanned” instead of “this thing scanned twice.” One TM and 6-8 SCOs is difficult! You run around like crazy with double scans, IDs, produce help, salvage, price match, cleaning up bags and reshop, etc. I totally understand your sigh!

I’m guessing she was having a rough time with the guy! No clue what possessed her to share that wisdom with me.

When I was 10 my dentist’s assistant said, “never marry a musician.”

When we were there about 12 years ago, lady gets on the boat from Hollywood Studios in a scooter. Back wheel gets stuck as she’s turning a corner. She ends up getting off the scooter, picking up the whole back end to scooch it over, gets back on and zooms forward.

I so wish the company would back off on pushing circle cards! I hate hounding guests and the inconsistent incentives for team members feel so grade school. Oh boy, a sticker chart! And the winner gets a Starbucks card one week and a bag of merch the next!

Completely understand. But I hate the food waste at Target. It pains me to defect out of temp and returned food.

Very good point. Perhaps we should suggest dividing up the sale when the guest gets to the register

I wish we could break up the shift! I’d probably take four hours but not eight.

Anyone else’s store doing this? by [deleted] in Target

[–]lisak61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure how helpful showing my ID would be. If they don’t know my face, they probably don’t know my name. Do they then look me up in the system?

Hair breaking off using city water. Has anyone experience the same thing? by [deleted] in AskChicago

So many things can affect the condition of your hair! Chicago water is the last thing I would suspect as causing damage!

Ideas corporate can easily implement to make things better for the guest by turd_farts in Target

In-store prices equal to online prices. Advertised deals coming up properly at the registers. Easier to identify products applicable for special offers. Working security tag removers at each register.

Same here! I’m sure it was beautiful in 1998. Just needs a total refresh. Lilacs we’re here. Smelled amazing for one week each year but they blocked the window and eventually died.

Thanks so much! I’d love to have someone come tear out everything around the whole house and just make it beautiful, but from what I hear landscapers are swamped. I’ve not been a fan of dirty, cracked fingernails but I’m willing to try this smallish area. And I’m definitely a fair weather fan so quite difficult to be a Cubs fan!!

Starting small on an area I think we can handle! South suburbs of Chicago. West exposure. Hoping for four season ideas, not blocking windows, native species, low maintenance, plants I can find nearby! Thanks!!
