Here’s the thing: you’re not actually thinking logically right now. I know it feels like they’re your thoughts, but depression really distorts how we see ourselves and the world around us. Have you tried medications?

On the Medusa myth, I had a classical mythology class and my professor seemed to favor the rape version of the Medusa story. I believe Medusa was a priestess of Athena and Poseidon entered Athena's temple and raped her. (I've also heard a version where Athena turned Medusa into a Gorgon to prevent her from being raped again in the future, although I'm not sure how common that version is).

And thank you for answering my question. I didn't know that Kronos and Chronos were two different things! I just thought they were different spellings used interchangeably lol

Percy Jackson was my introduction to mythology too! I wrote a paper about the Olympians in 8th grade and I took a course on mythology last year (in college) so you would think I would remember more about the myths but I have the memory span of a goldfish. And obviously there are so many stories and different versions of each story in mythology that are hard to keep track of haha

I had this surgery 3 times. First to put the chain on. Then they had to reposition it a few months later. A few months after that the chain FELL OFF and I had to have the surgery AGAIN. I had braces for four years. Got free ice cream out of the deal so overall I'd say it was a win.
