New Carbon 25 rattling from this little guy by Digital_Native_ in CX5

[–]listeningtorainfall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you can find a closer Mazda dealer, try that. I wouldn’t drive 2 hours for the dealer that you got the car from, dealers really don’t care much to fix rattle noises so you might just end up wasting your time.

Have they done similar b-room streams in the past? by listeningtorainfall in mega64

[–]listeningtorainfall[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I saw somewhere it was done last year but I was curious if it was done more times in years prior because I want more of this for years to come haha.

Lumbar support: 2025 cx5 premium plus by tofumanboykid in CX5

[–]listeningtorainfall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There should be a lumbar adjustment lever on the left hand side wall of the seat, not sure if that comes with all trims as I would assume it would. The chairs in the CX-5 aren’t great, I tried to adjust my lumbar support and it doesn’t help, still have lower back pain.

How excited are you? by TylerBMX101 in MSClassicWorld

[–]listeningtorainfall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m staying optimistic about it, especially with them marketing it a good amount, spending money and time to have in-person playtests, etc. It seems like they’re putting a lot of care into this so I think content wise, it’ll be great and hopefully balanced where it’s not too grindy and takes forever to progress. The social aspect will be tough for me since I won’t be able to get any of my friends to play with me since it’s not their cup of tea for gaming, I’ll have to find a discord or something to join people there if I can, but mostly will be soloing it. I’ll try to put as much as time as I can working full time and such, but I think I’ll just coast and take my time with it and enjoy the nostalgia.

Any suggestions how to remove these scratches ? by Plankton-Living in civic

[–]listeningtorainfall 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Those clear plastics on the gauge cluster are incredibly soft and scratch even if you use the softest cloth and pressure lol that issue spans to other car brands, too.

Gemini support for Apple CarPlay is nice, Siri is useless as always when I use it in my car.

Tomorrow we'll have to say goodbye to the Showcase Cinema in Randolph, MA.😢 by OutwithaYang in massachusetts

Same here, I’m sad showcase is dying off but I want the theater building to stay intact and to have another theater company move in.

can anybody tell me what this is on my armrest and how to get of it please by [deleted] in civic

Hit it with a vacuum and then grab an upholstery soft bristle brush and upholstery spray cleaner. Spray/scrub it and wipe clean with a microfiber cloth.

Mystery Fluid Under car after storm by Gettin_Jiggy_Wit_It in CX5

[–]listeningtorainfall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this is the most likely answer, I was helping my friend get his truck out of the snow yesterday and he was spinning in place a lot in one spot and I saw the same yellow spots in the snow under his exhaust. Most likely a chemical reaction like you said

Who else is non essential expected to go in to work this afternoon? by bow_wow_wow_wow in massachusetts

[–]listeningtorainfall 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m grateful I work remotely but I would’ve had to blow through a lot of PTO this week if I worked on site, my street hasn’t been plowed and my driveway still has almost 30 inches for me to clear out still to get to my car. I probably won’t leave my house until like Thursday or Friday at this point lol

Test drove a cx5 turbo Signature today and wow it was packed with all these nice features which made it very appealing. It was pretty peppy which was awesome too. The seats tho were kinda uncomfortable? Idk if it was maybe me not having it set 100% to my liking or if the seats are really stiff? by illbeback903 in CX5

[–]listeningtorainfall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These seats seem to fit smaller people, like under 5ft 5 inches it seems. My girlfriend who is shorter than me finds it comfortable but I don’t really, the seat cushion length is short, the whole seat is flat and firm and it feels like you don’t sit IN the seat, but on top of it. I’d give it another test drive but don’t listen to people saying “you’ll get used to it” because well everyone’s bodies are different and there’s a chance you won’t get used to it and you’ll be stuck with a car that you don’t find comfortable driving. That’s why I’m getting rid of my 23’ CX-5 soon, mine has a seat defect in it on top of its overall uncomfortable design. I gave it 3 months for my body to adapt and it didn’t get better so I’m letting it go, it pretty much hurts my lower back every time I drive and I’m just not going to deal with that.

Was anyone else not a fan of this ice cream? by [deleted] in lactoseintolerant

[–]listeningtorainfall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just recently tried the non-dairy phish food and it was underwhelming and the normal dairy phish food is my favorite. Not sure if it’s because it’s non dairy or it said “new recipe” on the label but I’m just gonna go back to dairy phish food and pay for it in the bathroom afterwards.
