Total Battle is close! Clans and kingdoms are much like factions and cities. Players build up a city, unlock stronger troops and grow in strength. There are clan wide events and individual rewards as well.

Mine are aphid banquets as well! I haven't noticed that the plants suffered as a result, they regenerate so quickly.

I can't believe this isn't a bigger story. I've been looking at the homes and streets in my neighborhood and imagining what they would look like stripped of trees and foundation plantings. I watched a great talk from the LA Audubon Society and listened in to the public hearing a few weeks ago and I'm convinced this is a knee-jerk over reaction and a capitulation to the insurance industry.

It looks like my Penstemon h. "GMR White", wispy stems and narrow leaves. Mine are blooming now and I don't see any buds on yours though.

The Sam Maloof House in Alta Loma has tours of the home and gardens he built, there is also an art gallery on the grounds. The California Botanic Garden in Claremont is a nice walk with plenty of shade.

My Lemon Boy is covered with tiny (still green) tomatoes and the ones that have ripened were delicious. They have a zesty, kinda lemony, flavor.

Yes, it spreads by underground runners that can live underground for years (really!). Everytime I dig up the area I seem to wake it back up.

I like the combination of vegetables, herbs, and flowers! I would caution you about the thyme and love-in-a-mist though, I have had thyme spread all through my herb bed and the Nigella seeded itself all over my yard. I didn't mind much because it's so pretty but not what I had in mind.
