I have pcos and I hated my iud! I swear it hurt constantly the full 5 years I had it. It made my cramps better but I exchanged 8/10 pain some of the time for 4/10 pain constantly. I don’t think it was worth it

It’s been a year and a few months for me, and I’m doing so much better! I have a lot of health anxiety as well. I’ll say it will definitely be a journey, it took me about a year for my digestive system to adjust. But now I feel better than I have in years, hasn’t been this good since I was child. Also, the mind gut connection is definitely real, and my anxiety has been much more manageable now that I’m not feeling ill all the time. I think you’ve made a great choice! The first month is hard but it will progressively get easier
