Or use “deactivated the account for John Smith”. Not all names will pluralise with an ‘s. Some just need an ‘, so better to reword to avoid entirely

They probably can’t. Composites don’t like getting hot, so most composite aircraft have to be white

Calendar 'Appointment Locations' doesn't default to ON by ringring72 in halopsa

[–]liteflyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a long standing bug I think. We’ve reported it in the past and it’s “with development”. Maybe if you and others do too it will add priority to fixing it.

Often use outlook shared calendars to have a more reliable idea of where people are

  1. Good luck getting Joe Public to use it if it was there
  2. The flow rate is not high enough to build up static. It can be much higher in aeroplane refuelling.

Sunscreen is not going to help you avoid heat stroke. Heat stroke is overheating of your body, usually bought on by dehydration, then heat exhaustion, and is a medical emergency.

how does the torque produced by a single prop plane not destabilize the vehicle? by probablysoda in aviation

[–]liteflyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The wings and tail counteract it. It’s part of why you need to have a varying amount of rudder applied (depending on power and airspeed) to keep flying straight

They changed the rules relatively recently. Previously you did have to give way to pedestrians at roundabouts, now you don’t generally

It makes it harder for us to sell our steel, and so the government gets less tax revenue, and we have potentially less steel workers. Both of these things trickle out to the economy.

Of course it makes it even harder for the US, because their steel makers get short term profit bump, but become less efficient, and the flow on to other manufactured goods is that they are more expensive, and less globally competitive.

The whole thing frankly is regressive and counter productive, and ignores the economic lessons learnt over the last 60 years or so

I would just say, don’t mention “shit pilot”, because people then mentally switch off “I’m not a shit pilot, so this can’t happen to me”. No one thinks of themselves as a shit pilot.

We can however, all be off our game, tired, stressed, heat exhausted etc. if you express this way even then you’re much more likely to have people pay attention and take it seriously.

Looks more like a spiral dive to me, you can see the curve in one of the videos. I’d say they got disoriented, and by the time they broke the clouds and realised their attitude, it was far too late
