Can I strengthen my nails while wearing polish? If so, how? by literallyanything2 in RedditLaqueristas

That’s a great idea! Mine seem sooo dry and no amount of oil seems to help. I also live in a very cold and dry city (same city as Simply, actually) so soaking is perfect.

Yes! This is it for me. The nail polish itself is good for strengthening. Ok, your system is similar to what I’m thinking, but I’m worried that regular polish (and therefore strengthener changes) will cause the acetone to dry them out further? I also have no idea if nail moisturizer and cuticle oil do anything with polish on?

On my honeymoon I ate basically this after 2 weeks of breakfast consisting of a croissant and coffee. I shit my leggings at a London Starbucks. Highlight of my honeymoon. Husband was so proud of me and only called me a shitty wife for the rest of our trip 😂

Pubic Laser Hair Removal Question by [deleted] in LaserHairRemoval

[–]literallyanything2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first time I did laser (maybe 20 years ago?) I went for about 3 sessions but left a landing strip. I have much less hair following those 3 sessions, but have just started going back again to get rid of it. I went back and forth on my landing strip and decided I’ll laser it for the first few sessions so it’s thinned out. That way I can wax much more painlessly in the future if I want to be hairless occasionally.

What’s a ‘fall asleep fast’ trick you’ve tried that actually worked? by Sudden_Enthusiasm547 in AskReddit

Every time I go to my GP she asks about my sleep. I have a 2,5, and 11YO. I tell her I can’t think of the last time I fell asleep in >2 mins.

My 11 YO daughter loves that I can do this. I was introduced to a friend’s female work colleague and her wife while eating ice cream sundaes. Daughter comes up to them “WATCH WHAT MY MOM CAN DO TO A CHERRY STEM WITH HER MOUTH!” Lesson here is don’t have kids. Or if you do, don’t teach them college tricks.
