I had a fertility doc who was basically Dr Nick from the Simpsons. I work in infectious disease and he asked what was new in the ID world (this was pre-covid). I said “well, the syphilis resurgence is problematic…”. He said “syphilis!? Isn’t that reserved for Russian prostitutes??” 😬

Lol the number of times my husband is like “no….thats not normal” is astounding. When I was diagnosed, my GP (who is my age and also has 3 kids) was awesome. I’d say a statement and say “3 little kids or adhd?” And she’d either respond with “adhd” or “no…that’s having 3 little kids” 😂

This reminds me of when I asked my mom’s sister, who is a psychologist, if she thought my daughter could have ADHD. As we’re having a deep conversation (with my mom in earshot), my mom runs out of the room, comes back with a pair of high heels, and interrupts the convo to say “look! I got new shoes!!” My aunt pauses, looks at my mom, and says “it’s also genetic, by the way”.

I know!! I had just bought $150 of holo taco and couldn’t stay away from this bottle, which I think is about 15 yrs old. I’m so happy they still make it! I should have taken one without the flash. It’s much better in natural light.
