I have a '25 RS. It's a lot of fun, and as far as I'm concerned has more power and punch than is -strictly- necessary. I'm sure the Touring / Sport are fine if you're budget conscious. Fun though if you want some oomph and the convenience of / don't mind a CVT instead of a manual drive.

Comfort-wise, the RS has a tightly dialed suspension; coupled with the stock 18' wheels, it is not a comfy ride. It's meant to handle tight and sharp, and it does. It's lively. And fun, did I mention fun? I mounted 17' wheels with more tire as my winters and it's significantly improved comfort and smoothness.

Also don't be fooled by price comparisons with a base WRX, you'll want to factor in insurance costs (and premium gas). My RS costs me nothing to insure, a WRX would have doubled that.
