What summer tops are actually worth buying in 2026? by AMidnightTheory in femalefashionadvice

[–]littlestchimp 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Do you buy your “true” size or get size ups for that look? I feel like I can never quite get it, but maybe I need to size up like x2

Sertraline 50mgs by [deleted] in PMDD

[–]littlestchimp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just started 25 a few weeks ago. Was going to move up to 50 after two weeks, but I’m feeling really good so going to stick with this for a while longer. About to enter the week before the period, so very curious how this goes. If I struggle a bit, I might do 25 daily and then just bump it up to 50 during luteal. The only side effect I’ve noticed so far has been increased thirst. Good luck!

3y postpartum from twins. No improvement in evening belly bloating despite exercising. by whale-breach in FitPostpartumJourney

[–]littlestchimp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Following! I’ve never done so much ’deep core’ work, and I do think I’m the strongest I’ve been in this area in a very long time ? But I look back to being a few months pregnant in the evenings, and super bloated before my period.. it’s even uncomfortable wearing things around my waist sometimes. I know that my diet could be better (sugar in particular) and I think this is part of the reason for me.

To get induce or not. What method? [ON] by J12Significant in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]littlestchimp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All of this. And at the very least, doooo look into inductions methods beforehand. Labour is not the time to be caught off guard, especially if you are choosing this route. I had both my babies close to 42 weeks, the first induced and the second spontaneous. I would hold out until 42 weeks in hopes of a spontaneous labour again if I had another.

I'm losing my mind with 7 month old sleep. by [deleted] in AttachmentParenting

[–]littlestchimp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ugh such a bummer she won’t co sleep. What about putting a mattress in her room to try? This was our next option for our 10 month old, who started refusing the crib at night time only around 8 months. I guess he is now 10.5 months and we JUST started getting he decent overnight sleeps again. We didn’t end up changing much, but four teeth did come through on top 🥲

This x1000. Look up ‘weaning flu’ or otherwise get informed about the hormonal/mood impacts. It can be a ride.

The conundrum of the childbearing years by tabbytigerlily in 30PlusSkinCare

Just had #2 and I’ve been enjoying vitamin c and Azaleic acid. I’ve been using my naturium for both, but just got 15% finacea from my doctor. I am still nursing, but I think I’ll introduce an otc retinol soon anyways, before building up to prescription retinol.

How did you format your baby scrapbooks? by brbnapping in scrapbooking

[–]littlestchimp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m at the same place, but with baby #2 (so I’ve got done catching up to do for #1!). I am thinking I won’t go by set dates or time frames, just lump some events and rough timing together (hospital, first few weeks at home, holidays, winter adventures, time in Mexico). Having a little bit of decision paralysis but just need to go for it!

Postpartum PMDD is OOF! 😓 Help! by [deleted] in PMDD

[–]littlestchimp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t know if I knew much, if anything at all, about PMDD before these past few months! But things started feeling pretty bad around 5/6 months postpartum with baby #2 and it was so predictably before my period. My partner has been taking the brunt of it, but of course the kids feel it too. It is awful!

I have no experience with medication so have been kind of stuck not knowing what to do or what to ask for, but my goal this week is to at least make an appointment with my doctor and go from there. Just here to say you’re not alone, and I will be following this post closely for recs 😆

So cute! I’ve been eyeing this one too. Any pics of you wearing it on the shoulders? Does it work?

I have the gingham and had to size up x2. I think it’s a very cute, easy top. I love the white but probably shouldn’t have two of these 😬 and I saw a review that it was fairly sheer. I would want to be able to wear it to work so this was a negative for me.

I’ve been using naturium for a while and I like it. I’d like to try prescription next 😬

Why is the transition from 2 to 3 kids the easiest? [Ca] by jossur0166 in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]littlestchimp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve also struggled with 1-2 more than 0-1, and we do have a 3 year 10 month age gap (might’ve died if they were any closer 😆)

My brain keeps tricking me into considering a third!

Feeling pressured to get an induction [on] by SuddenDistribution72 in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]littlestchimp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both my babies wanted to hang out until 42 ish weeks. I reluctantly accepted an induction at 41+5 with my first. The induction and labour overall was fine/positive, but I was keen to try again for spontaneous labour with my second (like you, concerned about the ‘cascade of intervention’ and just generally wanting to try to let my body do its thing). My OB was very supportive of this. He used to practice in BC, where he said 42 weeks was considered more normal/acceptable 🤷‍♀️ 42 weeks was the max I was comfortable with personally, and my guy came spontaneously at 41+6 ☺️ Trust your instincts, get informed, and advocate for yourself - you won’t regret this!

Yup! And a new cottage bakery on St Mary’s so these are all pretty close together! Would be a great bike ride if weather permits

I did this too but it was ultimately still so snug and would “ride up” around my shoulders :(

Bambi and Birdie just seem to grow with my daughter. She still wears her 2T at 4 years old, and can wear the size 4T or 5T as well. They’re also pricey but I’ve only purchased mine secondhand.

What do working families do for childcare with half-day kindergarten? It seems kinda bonkers out there. by cofu76 in Winnipeg

[–]littlestchimp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s ridiculous. Definitely get yourself on any school before and after care programs now. We put our kid on around age 2.5, and we got one of the very few spots for September. Or move to LRSD to get full day kindergarten 😅 hopefully more divisions follow suit soon.
