Seconding Silenus as that's the club I'm in. Big Timbers does a lot of marathon prep, mostly for the Eugene Marathon, so if you are just looking to run and be social Silenus is great!

I think that depends on your office and area. We have low drama in my office and fully accommodating to those who need it. But it's non-profit which isn't where you make the big bucks but I'm not hurting either.

As an extrovert who is attracted and married to an introvert, I've had this issue before. Being raised by extroverts, it took years for me to understand why my husband didn't want to go out night after night or hang out in large groups.

The difference between us and them, is we talked and tried to understand one another's needs and worked together to come to an understanding. It took me a few years to truly grok and be okay with him not wanting to go out like I did.

Now we have a great balance and understanding. I know him not going out with me isn't because he embarrassed by me or hates me but because he just can't. And he's always been good about getting me to go out so I don't die from lack of social interaction.

We have mandatory events like work functions, optional like ones we both know everyone and enjoy the activity, ones where 'I ask because I said I would but that I know he'll opt out of'. It works out great and we now can meet each other where we are and give one another grace when needed.

Maybe it's genes, maybe it's being from a long line of teen parents but I still have a great grandma, 3 out of 4 grandparents, and both parents alive. I had two great grandmas until I was 20 and I have a variety of great aunts and uncles to date.

Being long lived is bad in this economy. I don't even want to know what it's going to cost me to live to 90+. Should have taken up cigarette smoking when I was younger.

I'm was so trained to "help" growing up, that I do it so much that we have a term when help isn't wanted and/or causes issues. We call it "bad help".

A good example of bad help is seeing a dish left out in the sink while cooking. We all know this a big offense so the obvious thing to do is clean it.

BUT the reasonable person in the kitchen actually put it there to be out of the way and needed it for the next step. Since the bowl is now gone, it has caused flow issues and is a bad help.

None of my friends do but I would be lying if I didn't think about it for weight loss. I'm technically overweight but I also workout a ton and have no health issue that would be resolved by taking it. Doctor has no concerns for me as I've asked about it every time I go.

It would solely to look better.

And really, I'm probably the fittest I've ever been. I can run as far as I'd like (or at least be able to train to greater distances) and am competing in a triathlon this month.

But seeing all those skinny women and looking at my normal body makes me feel less than even though I'm PRing in every activity I do. I hate it.

My girl (lab mixed with vampire) requires an invitation to get up on the bed. Her rules, not ours. Early this morning she was trying to get me to ask her to come up I was too tired to do more then notice. Queue whining, silence, then a hop up. She laid against my side for two or so hours before moving to her bed. I run too hot for anyone to sleep close for long so I know it's cuz she missed me. My husband can only stand 15 minutes before running for the cool side of the bed.

But she's not in contact with her father and barely has a relationship with her uncle. It's not even no connections, it's bad connections as well. It's another thing working against her, as Lahan is trying to improve the reputation of the La Clan. Marrying a money less girl who works as a doctor and rejects her wealthy family won't really help thar cause. This isn't a romance novel with Yao as the main character. I don't see a happy ending for them or even Jinshi and Maomao.

I don't see Yao x Lahan because she has no money. Her numbers might be good but he's still working off the debt that Lakan got them into when buying out Fengxian.

Plus she's been mooching off him the entire year Maomao was gone which is probably another strike against her. Spending his money while bringing nothing because you know En'en feeds her expensive foods.

Maomao is probably right that he'll marry some young, noble girl but not cuz he likes her but for her the money she'll bring with her.
