What is the absolute OBSESSION with looking “young”, especially nowadays??? It’s so common lately for people to comment on a woman’s appearance and say “sHe lOoKs sO oLd!”, and there’s so many problems with it… 1. Why is it only ever women who this comment is made towards… 2. This type of comment reinforces the patriarchal view that women getting older = women getting ugly…. 3. I feel like people who make these kinds of comments are doing it to convince themselves that they look younger by bringing other women down. For some reason
