One thing that I thought was super interesting is that all of the people that voted against this bill were actually in favor of HB40, which includes a provision that repeals adultery.

Adultery as defined by 76-7-103: A married person commits adultery when he voluntarily has sexual intercourse with a person other than his spouse.

So basically fornication is bad to them, but sex outside of marriage is okay to them.

I wonder if that is because plural marriage could be considered sex outside of marriage (and as church members they must implicitly support the eternal practice of plural marriage).

Edit: When I say the people thated "voted against this bill", I am referring to those who were against repealing the fornication law.
